Thank you Steve
You're BACK...!! Great to see you getting better. My first Mustang was a "66".
If memory serves me correctly, my father's '66 Mustang Coupe with the 200cid six and a three-speed manual, also had the 140mph speedometer in the that same style gauge cluster.
All GT's in 66 came with the fog lamps as standard equipment with the GT package. The Rallye Pak, which consisted of a clock and tach mounted on the steering collum, was optional. here is a copy of the text from a 66 brochure that outlined what came with the GT package: Here's where you can really let yourself go. Choose your Mustang4Hardtop, Convertible or 2+2 and make it a Mustang GT with the GT Equipment Group ! Distinctive GT Identity and Conveniences: GT badges on front fenders. GT stripe (like Ford's GT racing car) running front to rear along the lower body. A pair of 4-inch fog lamps (clear lenses) mounted in the grille. Distinctive GT Power: You can have either the hot 225-hp Challenger Special V-8 (10 to 1 comp, ratio, 4-barrel carb., hydraulic lifters) or a real scorcher, the 271-hp Cobra V-8 (10.5 to 1 comp, ratio, 4-barrel carb., solid lifters). Both engines in Mustang GT's come equipped with special low-restriction dual exhaust systems. And chrome flared tailpipe extensions tell the onlookers what's under the hood ! Distinctive GT Performance: Special Handling Package (tauter suspension, faster steering) plus fade-resisting front disc brakes give you a kind of precise control you never thought possible in an American car! Options to go with the GT Group? Of course ! Rally Pac, 4-speed stick, 3-speed Cruise-O-Matic, styled steel wheels . . . and nearly all the Mustang options described in preceding pages !
Great cars. Great guy.
Great to see you Steve!
Keep doing your thing, Steve. You'll be back out in yards sooner than you think.👍🙏❤
We love you Steve!
So glad you are feeling better and are back working.
Great stuff again Steve enjoyed the classroom!
Beautiful looking Mustang! In 1974 my older brother had a 67 fastback gt black with the 4 speed manual. It had those same beautiful wheels! Thanks for sharing your knowledge and history of this beautiful cars! Wishing you well!🙏❤️🩹
Great work, Steve. Amazing to see your Gofundme is already over it's target 😄👍

Go Steve! Thanks for the vid
Hi Steve looking good my friend.... my friends dad had a 66 GT in turquoise... he used to take his three sons and me to the santa cruz beach boardwalk in the 70s in that car... we'd ride the rollercoaster non stop as it never seemed too busy when we were there.. anyway my friends older brther still has the car and it looks as good as it did back then.. keep on keepin on👍thanks for sharing
Thanks! Steve My sister had a 65 slant 6 and I now have a 2007 base Mustang.
Both Great looking Mustang's!
Great seeing you out and about doing what you love and are so good at. I know it is slow going but I can see that you are improving with every video.
Very nice example, Steve. I like everything that's just out of my reach! Cheers mate. 🇨🇦
looking good Champ!
Both beautiful cars. And they both have the Ford factory oem wheels and real tires, something you don't see very often anymore.
The GTs came with the fog lights in '65-'66 as part of the GT package. The "Rally-Pak" was/is the column mounted tach & clock.
Glad steve is back, not that Nick wasn't doing a great job.😉
Thanks🇨🇦
Great car
Keep them video's coming! You're getting better every day Steve
Great job as always Steve! We are ALL pulling for you!
The earlier '65s did not have the wire on gas cap but started later in the '65 model year.
Memories, I had a forest green 1966 mustang GT fastback with the rare combo of 4 speed and factory AC.. I bought this car in 1985 fully restored for $4800 I sold it 3 months later for $7800 I thought I made a killing LOL. I think the values gone up.
Nice
Looks great Steve! I had a ‘66 Fastback K-code GT, bought it in 1972 for $800.
Great vid Steve, cool car!!!!!! 🤜🤛
Steve is the best!
1965 Mustangs had the theft proof gas cap.
...................Remember to help Steve on the Go Fund Me !!!!!!!!
The steering wheel on the 66 is a pony interior wheel. It is not a standard interior steering wheel.
Great video
$5k added after that Streetside Classics debacle, I see....

What is the Streetside Classic debacle?
I remember them well.
❤🤓
I'm not a big fan of Mustangs, but I wouldn't mind having a stripped-down base model. 6 cylinder, 3 speed manual, no options. Just something to drive around town.
Looks very nice; I like because most is very original on this car and professional explained.
🧲🧭✔️
Thank you Steve
