It's a widely known fact that I am a Mopar fan, and when I saw this 1965 Plymouth Barracuda, I knew we needed to have it in the showroom. Beautifully restored, screaming Sublime Green paint with a flat black hood, and a fresh interior, it's a killer combination! This gorgeous car has seen only 3,500 miles since it was redone, and it does not disappoint!
Let's start out with the exterior. The paint is in great shape, the chrome bumpers are superb and the body is straight and clean. The margins and door lips are tight, clean and rust free. Weld wheels ride on all four corners. End to end the car's a looker!
Inside, the black bucket seats, door panels and other trim is practically brand new. Between the seats is the Hurst shifter, and in front of that you will find a set of aftermarket gauges mounted in the dash. The back seat folds for some additional cargo space. The headliner stretches tight across and features functional interior lights. The trunk is nicely painted with a solid pan and a clean trunk lid.
Duck underneath and you'll catch a glimpse of the 4-speed transmission with 4:10 gear rear end. Front disc brakes keep this 'Cuda in check. The car all comes together under the hood. The rebuilt 360 has aluminum heads and a HEI ignition to get her started. You will see that the fender walls have not been cut into, to make room for the headers, which is a nice touch. The engine compartment has been nicely detailed. This fish runs upstream with the best of 'em!
This is one of my favorite cars in the store, and I know it won't last long. It's too clean, too cool and too much fun to drive to hang around here! If you've dreamed of a beautifully restored Barracuda that you don't see everyday, don't delay -- you don't want to be late for Mopar "School!" Call Me Today 248-974-9513

I LOVE THOSE BARRACUDAS, WORKED FOR A PLYMOUTH DEALER WHEN THEY CAME OUT. BOUGHT A NEW ONE IN 1968. IT WAS A 340 FORMULA VERY FAST FOR A SMALL CAR. I RACED IT FOR A WHILE AND MY FRIENDS USED TO CALL IT THE CORVETTE KILLER. THE LOOK ON THERE FACES WAS PRICELESS WHEN I BEAT THEM.

This car is a custom build car. It's not restored. Plymouth never made a car with a 360 motor in 1965. I see a lot of these "Restored" Barracuda's with no trunk weather strip. I guess the builders don't know they make universal weather strip that will glue in place. Who wants water coming in and sitting in the trunk ? It's a nice custom built car.

They weren't called Cuda until 1969 or '70. You own a 1966 Barracuda. FYI

65s are way nicer in the front grille then 66, engineers always uglied cars rather then pretty them.
