Always keep it all original 🇺🇲
All that work and your assistant (Steven Esqueleto) just standing in the back. Put him to work. Awesome vid, great energy.

Hope to see which wires on t he firewall go where.
That engine looks like it be longs in. I use to have 1965 Impala myself then some body decided to ripe me off I managed to get back but unfortunately I didn't get the Interior back so I kept the engine and transmission and sold the body to my neighbor. I still miss that car.
6:05 That nitrile glove is holding itself together about as well as I am

You’re only Half way to losing it then. You’re almost there
I have a 63 and the alt was too tall with the truck bracket. Also the low mount AC bracket would have required extensive frame mods.

That was a worry of mine as well but luckily the 65’ already has a notch in the frame for the accessories there. So I just need to clearance the compressor Bracket slightly for it to sit correctly. But mainly because it’s hitting my motor mounts, not so much the frame.
See if you can get a Chavelle hood Scoop. That would look really cool on that car.
I put a Lq9 in my hummer H2 it’s a great engine with a truck cam and torque converter.
Hey whats up building a 65 myslef just wondering what and where did you mount the engine mounts pn the frame any pics would highly be appreciated

Awesome good luck! I used a kit from BRP Hot Rods. Had to weld the trans mounts, that was the only hard part about it. I don’t know of any other kits
How do you remove the front grill of the car I’m having a hard time trying to remove and replace my grill

From what I remember it was just held on by a couple screws and nuts. What’s keeping yours from coming out?
I think the 52ftlb vs. 48ftlb is BS, at that point the bolt itself is just stretching. Plus….. they came up with those torque specs from the factory, that’s what I’ll be using!

It’s an odd one to me too. It doesn’t make much sense to me either but I just decided to play it safe. I doubt you’d have issues going with the factory spec!
What motor mounts are you using?

Nope! Needed to cut out the old transmission tunnel. My last video was of me making a new transmission tunnel for it. :)
