1962 Cadillac Coupe Cold Start Up And A Awesome Drive
Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары
So, today we took out this 1962 Cadillac for a awesome drive, and before we moved it out of the garage, I tried to start up this Cadillac. Turns out it took 3 trys to get it started up, and I had to get it all warmed it up before I even stalled the engine. After I start it up, my dad took over the driving because I'm not allowed to drive it yet. I have to get 10 years of my driving experience for a classic car. My dads insurance company said that when he was on the phone. So anyways I really hope you guys enjoy this video and thanks for reading my description and watching my video. I'll see in the next video!! Oh and by the way, I have a second part of this. It's a car show in Uxbridge! So I'll post that video after I get this one done! So yeah, thanks for watching guys!!! :)

Oh ya! 😆🤣
Gorgeous, highwater mark for GM styling and engineering! In '62, we looked back thinking how so far, this is the best and most beautiful Post-War Cadillac. Now, 61 years later we look back and think how much better it looks than anything on the road today! I can tell by the color-keyed plastic door lock button it's a Series 62. A Coupe de Ville would have had a chrome button.
Beautiful my dad had one it was his first Cadillac. I remember sitting in that backseat trying to see out the windshield
Back when a Caddy was worth having, and actually looked GOOD !

@@ricardovlogos101 Not only that, but you knew at a glance that you were looking at a Caddy. Now you need to find the emblem to know, because they look like every other boring, plain looking car on the road
The '62 De Ville is one of my favorite Caddys. And '62 was a great year in general for, uh, the General (motors.) All their cars were on the upswing to a high water mark for design and engineering, culminating in the '67-71 El Dorado, De Villes and Fleetwoods for Cadillac Div, and best designs for the other divisions as well. The 62 Caddy finally overcame fully the design excesses of the late 50's and the '60 models. The 62 refinements hit the sweet spot, in my opinion, though the '61 sailing tailfins do intrigue me. My very favorite Caddys are the '64 models.

The small windows up front are called 'wing vents'. They're for smokers. Just cracked open, they suck smoke out like a red devil fire vent fan!

Check your neutral safety switch for the reverse lights might need adjustment

Cool!
Nice car but I don't miss the pumping of the gas to start it up , and I betcha its a 4 wheel drum brake car with a little m/c thus pumping brakes is necessary at a panic stop

Why are you pumping it? doesn't it have an automatic choke ?
@geoben1810

@Richard Stephenson He took the automatic choke off because it was painful? Now I understand where you got your brains from. Sell the car, you'll never be capable of appreciating something that classy.
Nice 62 .. where are you located ? want to sell the car ?
