Mike, I like the humble and very british approach in your channel. If you treat this great herritage with the passion and respect it deserves the bikes will serve you well.. Thanks.

Thanks very much for your kind words! I get a tremendous amount of enjoyment from working on these wonderful old motorcycles. Best wishes, Mike
I loved the smile on your face when she fired into life. Not even a puff of smoke. She sounds sweet Mike.
Great stuff like always. I have shared several of your videos with my cycle club here in Wisconsin, the BBC, British Biker Cooperative.

It was great to meet you both. Glad you had such a good time. We had a terrific time. Best wishes, Mike.
Those two guys are bad influences! Glad it turned out so well. Can't wait to see more.
If you can manage to get it up a hill , getting it down will take care of itself. Looks you've got a gem there.
Great Mike, to have pal’s like that giving informed encouragement. Makes me smile
Great find! Congratulations Mike!
That Bike is a pice of art as it sit's. It shows a place in time that was wonderful. 😉👌
Hi Mike. A couple of comments from me if I may, as you might remember me mentioning I owned a 1955 BSA A10 Gold Flash for some years but I have sadly sold her and after watching last week’s video it made me even more sad 😢. I done a dreadful thing and purchased ( I don’t know if I bring myself to tell you 🫣 ) a 2001 Honda Shadow ACE electric start and all that. It’s an American import by the way registered here in the UK in 2017 with less than 5000 miles on the clock ! With certain medical problems it makes life for me a lot easier but feel guilty now that I might be sent to “ Coventry “ and barred from the channel ( I hope not lol 😂 ) anyway I think the A10 sounds good and with your permission to continue watching the progress. Cheers Mike. Ray🇬🇧

....Love The-One you're With Bro.. They're ALL made on Planet Earth ! Dave nz
Boys will be boys, eh? The more I see it, the more I love it. Coolest bike I've seen in years, and the best sounding of the three if you ask me. Keep them mufflers. A ball of tin foil dipped in white vinegar does a great job on pitted chrome. Give it a try. And I wasn't kidding about painting a helmet to match the bike. The crowing touch for the new Anglo-American Bad Ass.
Looking forward!! Have fun, Mike.
Perfect idle Mike
Fantastic Mike! No clatter. No Smoke. You’ve got a good one there my friend!
Fantastic project Mike. Glad to hear that your preserving the tank and side covers, they are part of this bike's story. I'm looking forward to following along as you clean and return this bike to being roadworthy.
Love your content Mike , you are a great story teller and love all your projects and makes me happy and chilled out , please keep the garage open! 🤣🤣🏍️🇮🇲👏👏🙌
She sounds nice and crisp.............
Love the sound .Very unique.
You’re off to a great start. I didn’t see any smoke and it idled rather nicely. 👍
the motor sounds sweet.
Looks like you’ve struck gold there. Glad you’re keeping the flame design, I doubt if there’s another one like it.
All your bikes are cool , but this one is the best
Great bike Mike, I’m looking forears to see the first ride soon! Best regards from Croatia! Nick

Hi Rafael, I’m glad you enjoyed the video. I hope you are doing well. Yes this was a great surprise when the bike started. It idles so well and I can’t wait to ride it. But I’ve got a lot of cleaning to do first :-)
I love my classic BMW, but there is something about the throb of an old British twin. Is that Ozzie Jeff, he of the huge workshop and red Rapide? 🤔 Nice bike, Mike, good luck with the fettling 👍🏻
Wonderful project Mike! A real eye catcher for certain! 😁😁😍😍
Sounded beautiful. Bonus.
The handling on the BSAs is very good. My '58 A7 holds corners beautifully. It's a very surefooted solid ride.

Thanks a lot, I can’t wait to ride it. I’ve got the rear wheel in the mud guard assembly off at the moment, cleaning them, and then have to move all the way through the bike and do a decent service before I try and ride it. Cheers, Mike.
Mike, your bike sounds healthy with that galloping low idle its in good tune. What a great find that bike was although the magneto has one more test till proven ( starting when heat soaked)
Hello Mike, One thing i would strongly recommend is to take the oil tank out and wash it out. I always steam clean then out with a good soap and a steam clean, I use Truck wash in my steam cleaner. The hotter the better as it gets all the years of crap out of the tank. After a good hot rinse when clean, The heat in the oil tank after a good shake out, it will dry itself. Just a suggestion. Cheers and have a nice weekend. From Cumbria. U.K.
Like a kid on Christmas morning ! 🤩 🤩 😂
It sounded great Mike , you would think it had just been tuned (I reckon it would have started-up first-kick with a little-throttle ) and there were no bad noises anywhere. Seemed 'Crisper' than the visiting A10 . Well-done Sir !. Dave nz
Glad to see garage videos again!
The Bike Sounds Awesome Mike. ❤.
You've got some good friends Mike. Looking forward to more videos featuring the BSA.
The BSA sounds great.
Looking forward to this series. My 1959 Super Rocket runs great, very enjoyable up to 60/70 mph. No bad vibrations, a wonderful British bike.
Sounds unbelievable for a bike that's been stood.
Sounds great, looks like a good buy
That's a great bike Mike! Can't wait to see it up close!
Bike sounded great Mike , that idle 👌 😊
Success!!! She looks like she’ll be a fun runner! Congratulations! Look forward to seeing her cleaned up. Cheers!
My goodness that sounds great.
Happy eyes in your face tells us it runs great. Good that it will not change the Color.
Glad the start up worked so well! I can just imagine your reluctance to deviate from the project plan but peer pressure can be a bugger eh? ;)
I installed new Siamesed pipes and a Goldstar silencer on my 63. This was a factory option in 63, not sure about 62. I have a factory memo that claims 3hp extra with the Siamesed pipes. I couldnt feel any increase in power and the bike sounded nicer with the twin pipes. Too bad they were in rough shape. Yours look to be in good shape!
First of all the bike needs an o change and clean the oil tank and the mesh filter in the sump...and then tune the carbs, see how the fuell tank is inside, etc...👍
A pleasant surprise Mike. Great to have like-minded mates
That is fantastic. Your bike has a neat raspiness to the exhaust. Great.
Bike sounds great Mike! Keep up the great work.
Great Find Mike! Congrats. "SC" I believe was the Scrambler Gearbox. "SCT" was a Scrambler box with Trials ratio gears. At least that seems to be how the Gold Star manual reads, and I imagine they were very similar.
A great start that the bike started & runs quite nicely sounds crisp no smoke .. 😅 Looking forward to see the progress on this one Mike .. 😉 .. 👍 Thanks as always for sharing. atvb .. t .. .. 🏍
Your BSA sounded great, Mike. Original or not, those mufflers sound really good...... if they clean up really nice I would be very, very tempted to leave them on the bike. See you soon!

Totally agree , it sounds fantastic
I would have put a motorcycle boot on before attempting to kick it over but what the heck it started easy and it sounded great ! 🇬🇧
What a beauty.
Harley Davidson’s brother lol (Especially if you’re keeping the flames ha ha)

Peer pressure is a horrible thing. 😂
