  • @RustnAway

Power line I ran with a grommet through the firewall and down the passenger side floor. Airlines I ran underneath the car. I have the compressors and tanks in the spare tire well, so I drilled four small holes with grommets for the airlines. I prefer to have my compressors in the car to make them last longer, but the trade off is that it’s louder in the car (but to me it’s not that bad).

What’s a radio? LOL. Mine had the radio deleted because of vintage air, so I’m going to add a hidden Bluetooth unit. It shouldn’t be that bad with the radio on. And to be honest as long as you seal up your fittings good and aren’t playing with you air ride non-stop you’ll be ok.

I was able to get it between the opening in the upper spring cup and underneath the upper control arm. Put some rubber fuel line around the air line where it’s tight by the UCA as added protection.

Thanks for posting this very informative video. I have a 59 El Camino that I recently installed airbags on & Unfortunately now I’m really un happy with how bouncy the front end is on the highway or at high speed. Not to mention these F’ed up L.A. streets don’t help either. 😂 Looking into buying that same front shock relocator kit from twisted images. Are you happy with how your wagon handles? Just curious if you ended up having to shorten your front sway bar end links? And lastly what was the issue with the rear sway bar? I wasn’t sure if/or remember seeing you remove it &/or install it back on the vehicle?

  • @RustnAway

I love it. Rides great. It has a little bit of sway on the interstate at high speeds but it also has power steering that is very touchy. I did trim the sway bar end links and got new bolts from Ace. Rear sway bar was a hotchkis one and worked fine.

Straight up through the coil cups. An alternative is using a union fitting and drilling a hole in the upper cup. Check out the Blue C10 I bagged and you can see those. I don’t prefer them personally because I try to have as few fittings as possible (potential leak points)
