Convertible frames have reinforcing on bottom of frame where your brace connects. I assume your lower tab would have to be trimmed? Nice engineering idea. I will order a set if can be used with convertible frame.

Wouldn't it be smarter to ship the parts that need to be welded, not powder coated or painted? Keep the cost down for company nd customer.
