1957 Gibson Les Paul played by Joey Landreth
cartervintage.com/products/gi...
This refinished beauty is one fine playing and sounding guitar. It has early no sticker PAF humbuckers that deliver that rich tone that only real PAFs can give. Has a very easy to play neck that feels incredibly comfortable in the hand. The offset top looks great underneath the deep sunburst that brings to mind many classic looking 'bursts.
We plugged this guitar into a 1962 Fender Deluxe. The amp was close mic'd Cascade Fat Head BE. The room was mic'd with a Zoom H6N.

I have watched this like a billion times. never gets old
This is just ridiculously fantastic, all the way around.
I think you all should give this guitar to Joey as payment for his work on these videos. Who else is going to make it talk like that? Just amazing!!
I don’t even play guitar...I just keep listening because the combination of Joey’s playing and the tone of these beautiful vintage instruments are just so gorgeous together.
This is still some of the best slide i've heard yet.
He just blows me away. The licks and tone is unbelievable.
