These guys are like no one else on earth...certainly no one else on KZread. Priceless.
Here's a fun poem attributed to Hank Williams Sr. when he was 11 years old. Thought you guys would enjoy it. "I had an old goat that ate tin cans. When the baby goats came, they were Ford sedans"

When cars made unique noises you could recognise. Thanks guys!
Thanks for the video Guys.
Glad you're back!
That motor is a piece of industrial sculpture. Beautiful, purposeful thing.
Well done, Gentlemen!
Glad to see you guys back and putting out info. Always glad to see early model Ford info. Thanks from East Texas.
Sweet!... Thumbs Up!...
57th Viewer, and 23rd-ish Like after only 4 Minutes ! We await your videos, as always. It was good to see you guys get another Ford started. The challenge will be getting it down the road...and back. No fair towing.

Matt, Jim you're back! Great job with the model B engine. Sounds perfect. Thanks for making an appearance and for heavens sake, lighten up a bit. More jokes please. Until next time. Cheers from Wisconsin
Glad you're back.
Great old engin, good to see Strong's back with some content. Still see You Guy's on CWM but like this as well. Both Strong's & CWM have the great'est Car history on the tube.
Neat!...
My brother still remembers a very cold winter day in 1958 when one of the school teachers was pulling another car to start it. My brother went out to try start my Model B Fordor, and it started right up. It was the only car I sold for what I paid for it a year previously. I brings back fond memories,
Lets go for a Cruise...
Good evening, such a nice video, the whole work has been precisely done and the proof is the perfect running engine. It sounds really good, thank you for sharing. Best wishes and greetings from Santa Catarina State, Southern Brazil.
After those final tweaks, she was purring like a kitten! Great job, guys!
that's some soldering iron!
0:38 if you never seen it before, it'll look the same....🤔🤨👌
I usually prefer short videos. But from Strong's Garage, I'm ready for an epic movie length- like Cleopatra or Dr. Zhivago or Gone with the Wind. Thanks for another great and very enjoyable show.
That is a great shop . I would never go home if I had a place like this. Keep the old cars around takes men like you two.
She sounds strong as a International tractor.
Nice to see you guys again, the garage looks great. The new rebuild sound awesome, should last for years properly cared for. Hope to see more videos from Strongs Garage in the future
Sounds like my Uncle Raymonds old Ford Jubilee tractor running, lol.
Always glad to see a ford live again
Lucky customer to see his rebuild being rebuilt as required.
Beautiful job gentlemen! She sounded just lovely, and looked fabulous as well! Looking forward to the next one...

Dear Scott. 👍 Always nice to meet you here. Please pet/hug the black girl (Booboo- dog) for me. Thanks in advance. Best regards, luck and health in particular. To both of you of course.
What a cool motor... balanced shaft and all the hot extras! Thanks guys!
Great Job on that B Engine! Shop looks Vintage Good! Cheers Guys, Thanks.
Still waiting on a Rayjo build, gotta get ready for the gentlemens race.
Thanks so much for keeping the old knowledge alive! 😃
You need to get with Scott to record your opening with the old 8mm b/w film and fade into color and have the outro fade to black and white
Guys, I know you like to go for originality, but the cord on that massive soldering iron really should be replaced before you have a "shocking" experience!😵💫 Love what you've done to this little engine.I love the simplicity of it. No solenoid, no cables running everywhere. Just mount the starter near the floorboards, run a rod from the switch up through the floor and you're good to go. Love the sound of these things as well. Good on you for using a Model A exhaust system for that authentic sound.
Oh Yeah ! Good to have you gents back ! Shop looks great. One suggestion, you might want to hide an led strip light up behind the service station cabinet's roll down door. It's pretty dark above the workbench. Jim did a nice job on the B Model sounds strong. As it should coming from " Strong's Garage" 🤭👍 Cheers !
Welcome back! We Missed your videos. Business comes before KZread, which understandable
That engine ran magnificently!! Well done, gentlemen!!!
I had the pleasure of working on a '31 and like the 31 Caddy V12 I undertook, I learned a heck of a lot about how cars were made in the early years, and boy were the electrics fun to wrap my head around! That poor old 4 banger though, it was a cosmetic restoration from maybe the late 60's or early 70's and I don't think the lower end had ever come apart. It was leaking badly from the rear of the pan, and upon removal i found pieces of steel which I figured out were the piston skirt inserts which had broken in a couple of the pistons. Customer was just selling the car and wanted to put as little in as possible, so the mess was cleaned up, then found the condenser was bad in the distributor, which I replaced. I got it running and squeezed inside to drive it around the block which was an adventure! The '36 Ford V8 pickup with cable brakes was a whole other generation of car from that model B! I miss working at that restoration shop, but don't miss the shop owners.
So it’s ready for Nitroes 👍🏻🇦🇺 good clip boys .
Jim: "If you have never seen it before, it looks the same!" 😁😁😁👍👌👏 🙈🙈🙈
Jim and Matt, I noticed the service cabinet right away......even before you pointed it out. I love the Art Deco lettering and the fact you saved it and are using it as it was intended to be used....Great look
Good job, shop looks good. The B motor is a great choice for a touring car for sure! Cheers from Texas also.
Keep up the great job and videos, glad to see someone has the same interest. Thanks
Sadly, in modern times the Ford Joke Book comes off at the end of the assembly line. Such a beautiful well made car back in the day. Thank you both for sharing the wonderful memories of these beautiful old machines. Cheers from Connecticut!
Came for the Model B engine start, stayed for the Ford joke book!
Sounds like it was saying "put me in, coach". We like the garage rebuild too.
A thing of beauty. The sound reminds me of the Fordson Dexta tractor my dad had.
"What a corker" indeed, Jim. 🙂 - Ed on the Ridge
Great video Thanks for posting and all your good work..Wish I was a fly sitting on your shoulder so I could really get a close up on your work . Cheers
Good to see you again, boys!
Whoopee, a new video from Strong's Garage! I thought maybe you guys had way over done it with the egg nog and wassail and were in rehab. LOL 😆 🤣 😂
Just love the shop and all the work you guys do. Always enjoy your videos.
The shop looks great! To the untrained eye, it appears as if you guys are professionals and actually know what you are doing. LOL 😂
Digging that roadster in the background there.. sweet build guys!
Thanks for adding the tail pipe sound. Real car guys love that! EV drivers - not so much.
Really, really enjoy your content, thanks so much.
Nothing else sounds like that. Love it.
Well done the engine runs sweet. The vintage cabinet adorned with your shop name is excellent!
You guys are so talented. Respect.
Great job! Good to see you guys! Cheers! 😎👍🛻🏁🏁
How about an update on all the projects in the shop?
That is a fine running engine! Great work!
Nice job guys. Love the show exactly as it is.
Welcome back. Nice to see you guys.
The shop is looking good guys.
thanks guys
7:33 Al!
Smooth fellows, smooth!
👍👌👏 That's a really nice looking, period correct service station/cabinet. Congratulations 🎉 for purchasing it. Unfortunately now the red, relatively modern tool chests/boxes are looking kind of misplaced. Maybe some day in the future you will have time to change the colour = paint them. 2) What a good running engine. Sounds strong and smooth. Congrats for a very nice rebuild and modification. Thanks a lot for making teaching explaining recording editing uploading and sharing. Best regards luck and especially health to both of you.
Love your channel and all the cool old stuff.im building a 31 ford coach hot rod with all old parts .
Great job guys ! Thank you
Very nice work fellas 🎉❤
You guys did an awesome job on the engine. Just a thought, on the overhead hoist controls, maybe paint one of the pullers a different color so you know which one is which. Love your channel.
Sounds ausome guys! Good job.
Where the hell you two been? I would dock your pay if you didn't already work for free. Nice job she sounds sweet thank you stay safe ALL
Awesome stuff 👍
Sweet!
AWESOME VIDEO THANK YOU FOR THE VIDEO
Is this The Great White North with The McKenzie Bros.?😂
Love your videos! I live near the Memphis Tennessee area and was on a road trip through Banff and the Canadian Rockies area in February. I would have liked to have stopped by your shop but wasn't sure how you felt about visitors.

Yeah DON'T stop to visit YT guys! You Tube people are known to get creepy stalkers coming around and it's very unsettling.
Is the B engine a updated A engine or a whole different design? Always good to get a video from you guys...
Me: Hi Jim, can I get a set of wipers for my wife's Ford? Jim: Sure, that seems like a fair trade.
Thanks Guys!! Did I see Al in the background?
Great video guys love your videos
Love how you guys fine detailed the engine. Very nice to see a video update in a long time. They primer coated Zephir looks very interesting in the background?
And without further adieu........ Jim looks off like he has enjoyed some of the best weed he's smoked in years! Hahaaa!
Lovely old Ford , running perfectly again ! Was that Long-Tailed Zephyr coupe bird of 39/40 vintage , lurking in the background ?
Great video, interesting & entertaining. Was that a certain red Model A Repair Manual that Jim was perusing in the background of the workshop?? I thought you would be using Victor Page!. Cheers.
The good news: engine looks and sounds great. The bad news: Every time the new owner encounters a Chevrolet of that era it will kick his little chugmobile into the ditch!
Do you think you will be doing any more videos?
its been a while!
The days when ya didn't run to O'Reillys for a new starter, ya rebuilt the old 1to good as new....
Noticed the switch between an alternator on the engine and a generator when it was run. Is the owner going to run an alternator in the car?
5 to 1 compression. So this is the hot rod model B. Sure sounds good running at idle. So is the oiling system better then model As or Ts?
few close ups in focus throughout the videos goes a long way guys :)
Are those B model engines hard to find?

Dear @paulstanley31 That's what I was wondering too. Best regards, luck and health in particular.
What kind of gas mileage did those things get?
