I'm Canadian, Ontario farm boy. I just acquired a 62 Mercury F700 grain truck, originally from SK I'm told. Scissor hoist, factory steel grain racks. Nice shape...if it was an Ontario truck it would have been rusted out by 72 lol. Those tires and rims will likely last a long time if you're just hauling from field to bin on farm up the sideroads. Not likely the DOT would pass them though!

I think its funny how people get so amazed these old cars start/run/drive when its cold or snowy. Like...they had snow in 1953...and it got cold too. People still drove lol

I too have a 1937 Chevrolet Master 2 door sedan , that only needs every thing, and is the same original color Gazelle Brown! Yours have a beautiful front grill, mine by the looks of it , and it’s V-shaped front bumper took a hard hit in the face, which pretty much destroyed my grill 😩 Finding a decent “stock/straight original is a study in frustration,as most aftermarket grills are goofy stainless lazer cut hot rod replacements, not what I’m looking for! So the search gos on . Excellent you tube channel, always informative viewing 👍

Those old cars are probably very happy getting to drive on modern smooth roads compared to back in the day !! Cruising is cruising doesn't matter what you drive.

You might check with George Asche of Venus PA USA. He’s a Chrysler flathead 6 guru. He may have the finned head and intake you’re looking for. Not sure if he’s still alive but his sons may still be running his business.

Jim and Matt, I noticed the service cabinet right away......even before you pointed it out. I love the Art Deco lettering and the fact you saved it and are using it as it was intended to be used....Great look

What a moron! He does not know what he is doing. No need for a half a can of starting fluid if you let the pony engine do it's job warming the big engine. I hate idiots like this abusing old iron.

To me there is nothing more satisfying than watching coffee being made. I do it daily in my Pyrex flameware percolator. The sights, the sounds, the smells! They transport me to a time less complicated. Great video, thank you!
