I’m an African American so U know I love Cadillacs 😆 Seriously speaking this was like a history lesson for me. Cadillac has always been light years ahead of the curve in technological advances in the automobile industry. To see the headlights turning in the same direction that the driver is turning, in 1931 gives me goosebumps. I’ve owned three Cadillacs myself, & I loved all three of them. Here’s the best part...ALL AMERICAN! 👍🏿

Lucky guy you to own that car. It took me 3 Yrs 7 months to rebuild a 1937 Plymouth. Took me over a yr to talk this lady to sell it to me. 2200 it cost me. Went back when I finished the car took her for a ride she cried asked what's wrong it was tears of joy to see her again and was proud of my work to have her looking good. Another fine car is a 1937 Buick this man owned when I was 13 Yrs old in 1963 my God what a beautiful car that was as nice as your Cadillac. Well made car. Yes got to ride in her once what a smooth riding car. Thanks on showing. Happy New Year.

I got up close to one of these 1930's V-16 Cadillac covertables at the 2017 Lime Rock Historic races. There was a Concourse d'Elegance that had some beauties, but the best was the green on black Caddy.

Jack's Auto Ranch in Wisconsin... They have cars back to 1912. Maybe you could get your parts there your tools. There are some other junk yards in that area, I don't recall the name of them a whole bunch of old cars in them, it might not hurt to research. Beautiful automobile I wish you well in your search.

Thanks very much. I have built a 1937 Cord Westchester sedan in 181 days. I have also filmed the whole thing including the history of the Auburn Automobile Co. It will be going to edit in a month or two and then hopefully out for viewing in the spring. Unfortunately KZread is a platform that will drive me into bankruptcy. @@claytoresto I watched it. Interesting! I noted the bore X stroke being the same as the 302 Chevy (if my memory serves), which would make it a 600+ cube motor. Were any torque estimates made in those days? That's where I bet it would really shine.
