How cool to see another of Richard Bach's airplanes. I flew inton Columbia CA once and met the current owner of Bach's Meyers.

I had a friend who owned a Fleet model 2. Had a Kinner radial with manually greased rocker arms.

Seen a 1930 fleet, a man and his son were putting together, back in the mid 60's., when I was taking flying instructions at Concord Airport, in NE Ohio. Seen a few times over the years. I was partners in two different Stearmans over a 20 year period. I also used to do inverted spins in my Stearman, and it feels as if your in a washing machine spin cycle. He's talking about a Great Lakes, and I had a chance to fly one, and it's very heavy on the controls, and a terrible aerobatic airplane. I'm 82, and don't fly any more, but wish I still could. What I miss is the hanger flying time, many many good stories were told! Good like with your strip!

What a great story and history about the Fleet Trainer. I once built a model of the Fleet I found in Flying Models issue of March, 1942. The month and year I was born.

Super cool video Dewey! It was fun listening to your friends talk about their planes because I have no clue how any of this stuff works so it’s interesting to actually learn something in your videos 😂. This was a great video!!

It has lovely proportions. I am very picky over my bi-planes and specifically how the top wing is brased above the nose. This looks nice because it has some decent angles on the supporting struts. On something like the Moth that section seems too square(scafold like) to me with the top wing also looking rather too high for best asthectics. This looks Goldiocks.

Turn it into a flower pot. Put a hole in the roof and fill it up with manure then it will be a useful pile of poo...
