19.2 CrossFit Open- My Day

The CrossFit open is here and I am ready to see where I am at. I started CrossFit back in September of 2018 and although having some ups and downs in my personal life that kept me from being as consistent as I would have liked Ive still seen amazing changes in myself. Today is 19.2 and its my first time participating in the open. Check out how it went and follow along to see how I improve and hopefully motivate others to check out CrossFit and give it a try.

    What are some important exercises to do to condition oneself for a Montana hunt? If I get drawn it will be my first out of state hunt in conditions and terrain like that. I am a regular at the gym and know my way around weights and cardio (but still could be in wayyy better shape and also I'm 50), but want to try and focus on the particular exercises that will help with a hunt like that.

    kathleen halvorsen put a back pack on and go hiking! Some of the best right there. Learn your pack and how it fits. Stair master, can work well also. But can’t beat hiking hills or mountains with your pack on with weight. Cardio is the best.
