Agree. If the round columns are not for support I would get rid of them. If they have to stay I’d box around them to shape to a 4 sided column - more contemporary looking.

Very nice home. I find the garage and front door colour is dated. A nice dark grey would add to the curb appeal. Also, the railing looks like the same colour. Needs to be black.
