My 13 month old daughter absolutely loves this! Your Bolero too. We watch classical and jazz on KZread sometimes, and she likes it. But I’ve never seen her so rapt in attention as with you all. So glad the algorithm recommended you.

A nice touch, adding the sound effects. The 1812 just isn't the 1812 without the cannons and bells. Nice arrangement, nice sound. Thanks, girls.

As the (bassoon) bells were ringing, and the cannons were firing, I was thinking "Where are the fireworks?". And then, BOOM, right in the face! Y'all are sooo funny!

In the late 19th century, Tsar Alexander III of Russia had a quartet in which he played the bassoon.

I was expecting a lot of loud, explosive noises. And then I figured they would add the cannons too.

Russians' tendency to write religious chorales in everything coupled with Tchaikovsky's inability to write an ending, punctuated by perfect deadpan percussion. Chef's kiss.

There are some compositions that were destined to be played by only bassoons. This is one of them. Fantastic work as always, Ladies!
