Terrific! Wonderful performance! How about the William Tell overture? I've tried to whistle it with friends, and we can't do it without laughing. But, this was superb! Thank you!

Over the top awesome! Serious gravity, along with its opposite, comedy. Amazing chops!

The only thing missing was cannon and cymbals ....no scratch that it was great in its own place. An amazing performance!

1. Absolutely fabulous ensemble! 2. Nearly as good as horns. 😊 (Now you know what I play.) 3. Who needs saxophones? Ever! Absolutely amazed at the volume and spectrum of timbres. You ladies might wish to see whether Sue Nigro can collaborate with you.

You are all magnificent! ...ah... Yeah, I play trombone, the long slidey thing. I've also played bassoon (loved it, but I couldn't move my fingers very fast, used to moving my arm)... And French horn... And piano... And concert pipe organ... And timpani (one concert, Beethoven's 5th)... And double bass (two half-hour lessons at a music camp, killed my left index finger for a good two weeks)...

I knew Peter Schickele was a bassoonist. Now, after seeing and hearing you guys, I'm convinced being a bit warped is a prerequisite to taking up the instrument. 😂

I note that of the four players, three are palying shortened "gentlemen's" models; a pricey addition to make the instrument fit in a shorter case. Nothing wrong with that - sure wish I could afford it. Not exactly starving students, with their $40k instruments. Another interesting moment occurs at 2:53, where 2 players hold their instruments in their crotch - not exactly traditional bassoon technique.... I've actually never seen a bassoonist do that before in my 50 years' experience with the instrument. Shall we call this "bassina" or perhaps "vulvoon"? The phallic mimicry is imitimable!
