(18) Check The Torsional Irregularity- Tall Buildings Design - Etabs
Torsional irregularity is one such horizontal irregularity which has to be looked upon while designing a structure. Before explaining the term torsional irregularity, one has to be acquainted with the terms drift, story drift, eccentricity and torsion.
Recent codes have defined torsional irregularity as the condition where the maximum story drift, including accidental torsion, at one end of the structure transverse to an axis is more than 1.2 times the average of the story drifts at the two ends of the structure.

What is the difference in eccentricity obtain from center of mass vs center of rigidity table and as calculated above?
what is the meaning of ABS in this excell sheet? whats the use of it? and how editing the eccentricity eliminate this irregularity? plz reply sir
Should we check again in Excel sheet for that existing direction after changing the Ecc Ratio.

@@ehsantutorials5020 yes, but I did a little change to the slab edge. The program gave me error while checking Model. Then expanded the slab edge a little bit wider than the outer edge of corner column and walls.
