18/09/1983 - ITV - Night Thoughts and LWT Closedown

Found at the end of an old Betamax tape, here we have an edition of the London only Night Thoughts and then an LWT closedown.

    From the early hours of 18th September 1983, not June, and right in the middle of ITV's excessive campaign to make 'The Winds of War' their next 'Brideshead Revisited', albeit imported. Needless to say, the series and its sequel, 'War and Remembrance', are now largely forgotten.
