Would you eat it after touching a dirty sheep though?

I want to see Hot Stuff and Steel....and I want a Galaxy! Seeing Galaxy advertised as a country goodness type bar is weird. It's not how we see it now.

Because at that point LWT accused Thames of deliberately conspiring to hand over a low audience to them at 7pm by putting on programmes which didn't appeal to the highest common denominator, and also the BBC added to this problem by having a well-entertained weekend schedule of programming. The feud only ended when LWT realised Thames had lost its franchise in 1991. However things changed after 1977 when LWT lobbied for an earlier start on Friday evenings to the IBA, and in the 1980 franchise round the IBA suggested that LWT contract Thames to provide their Friday evening regional news programme whether or not The Six O'Clock Show was on.

This lwt closedown has made some viewers with epilepsy or seizure. Please don't watch if you got that condition

Why were they scared of leaving television sets plugged in overnight?

Television sets were built differently then and so there was a need for ITV continuity announcers to do this.

Actually the end credits of celebrity concert are LWT as well so why BBC??
