Brilliant acting. I saw this same cast on Broadway in 1974.

Not only did Caesar Rodney conduct his famous all-night ride to break the deadlock over Independence, but in the year following this he served as Brigadier General of DE militia, recruiting troops and forwarding them to Washington in NJ. Once or twice he took the field, as during the Brandywine Campaign, although his units saw no action.

Well, the director's cut widescreen is available for streaming for free. I have taken scenes from the original cut, edited for television, and corrected the sound. My hope is to introduce people to the musical, and also to interest people in the founding. Thanks for stopping by.

@@MichaelScotto I would have used the widescreen as that is how it was shown in the theaters and that how the director designed the film to be seen.

@@MichaelScotto Neither are tyrants. Just men thrown into an unwieldy system, doing everything they can to gain support. So in that regard, there's no difference. If you were to ask which one seems more like a hedonist... then you'll find a definite answer. Only if you wish to do so. edit: I forgot one compelled people to attempt a coup d'état, which in America is tantamount to sacrilege.
