This all looks so good! I would not be able to keep up though. Good food I want to savor and appreciate slowly.

There's a super famous omakase in Tokyo called Jiro that I've been interested in, but I've heard the pacing is even faster than here, so I'm hesitant to visit. I don't think I'll be able to keep up there

sushi looks great. The conversation reminded me why I hat trendy bay area restaurants. Maybe they have takeout.

24 courses over 1.5 hours vs. 2.5?🤔An average of 6.25 minutes per course vs. 3.75? My stomach would prefer the slower pace, but my head understands the quick pace aligning with the theme of the restaurant.

One of the reasons I'm afraid to visit the famous sushiya Jiro is because I heard the omakase is done in 30-45 minutes. No time to relax. Just eat!

Sorry to say this but a master sushi chef doesn't wear gloves.

Agree, but maybe there were injuries on his hands which required him to wear gloves?

I have to say watching this reminds me of beginner sushi helper that works at a sushi boat. Maybe the fish tastes ok but there are way more quality talented chefs doing much better work.

It always bothers me when sushi chefs making your food not wearing hair nets or chefs cap to prevent from hair going into your food. Watching your videos it’s always here in the states.

WOW $165 without tip for 24 piece omakase with an ambiance of drug addicted pee smelling homeless people nearby. No parking in this area BTW. I live in SF. With tips and drinks your closer to $250. Japantown used to be OK but no more. Its crime ridden whereas most hotels around it are actually homeless shelters. I will eat here if they will increase their price to $400. Sign me up!

There's a Japantown parking garage if you can't find street parking. Don't know what you're talking about "No parking in this area BTW".
