I have been watching you for a while now. Well, think I have almost watched them all now. I have spent much of my life alone. So watching you all is like I have a family. I so much love you all. And to see your dreams come true makes me so very happy. I fall asleep sometimes watching and wake up and you're still going. So I think I am helping you all a lot. I do enjoy the presents and the surprise of what's in them. I don't know if I will ever get to come to France, but you will be the first place I will come to. Not just as a guest but to help in some way. I love the dishes also. I am an artist. Not much I have not tried or done. What fun you all have. I know you all work very hard also. Please hug everyone from a 72-year-old fan.

Stefanie…. I remember when the gravel arrived and how everyone chipped in to help, even your guest. Also everyone wearing robes and Dan’s robe made me laugh, you were able to make a hard job out to be fun with lots of laughter. GRANT…what a jewel you are, I have often thought the Château needed flowers or something closer and the border you put in was just what it needed. You are such a talented man and may I also say handsome? ☺️. The Courtyard is lovely and I am looking forward to what is next.🌹🌸💐🌺🌻🌼🥀

I think the most endearing attribute you bring to us Stephanie is your ability to enjoy the process of transformation and appreciate each small and large measure of progress. You have such joy in the daily rhythm! The shear volume of effort and work you put in thus far is amazing and very inspiring. The trees in the courtyard are brilliant and really frame it in a very special way. Cheers to you and your fellow travelers. Thank you for including us in your journey. P.S. the fact that you allow yourself to be filmed while wearing your shower cap is also quite endearing. Keeping it real. I love that about you.

I wanted to meet all of you at LaLande, especially your mother. Dig in the gardens and pull weeds and plants some posies. But because of the lockdowns and other things, our dreams have been changed. So will keep watching, vicariously, wishing we were there! Blessings to all of you!👍🏻💕🇺🇸💐🌻🌼🌸

So wonderful to watch the transformation of the courtyard fountain and all the plantings. It’s lovely now and will only be more lovely as the years go by and aging (with routine care) does it’s magic. Stephanie, I remember watching a video of yours from early in the pandemic and lockdown. You were in your bed, maybe having some tea? and joyfully chattering about your beautiful Chateau Lalande and whatever tasks you had before you. It gave me such a feeling of sweetness and light that I so badly needed to see at that time. For positive reasons, it does most of us so much good to watch regular doses of “normal” life going on but that are also filled with goals achieved, fun adventures, day-to-day pleasantries and kindness. Sadly, with our world turned so crazy (here in the U.S. and the atrocities in Ukraine 🇺🇦 😪)and so much political divide, chaos and happenings that would have been thought of as “unimaginable” not that long ago, many of us have likely given ourselves a “prescription” to watch channels like yours that provide us an “island of calm and sanity.” Thank you for your important contribution to this “video therapy” (not to mention the hard work of your family & regular staff, volunteers and just everyone else there with you.) And my very best wishes on all your endeavors, plans and dreams. You’ve accomplished so much and will no doubt continue to do so. (Please forgive a bit of excess here…I’ve included all the iPhone Emoji’s that I think relate to your videos. 👍😀) 🕊🐇🦔🐓🥚🦚🐑 🦃 🎄💐🌷🥀🌸🌼🌻🌳🌳🌳🍄☘️🪴🌿🪺🪵 🌈🌏🌞☀️💨❄️🌬🍓🥬🧅🧄🍅🥗🥕🍆🥒🍏🍐🍋🍑🫐🧺🛍👗👠🕺🏻💃❤️💋🎁 📦 🍞🥛🧀🥖🥔🥐🎂 🍰 🍖🍗🥓🥮🥗🍳🧈🧇🥧🍯🍷🥂🍸🛀🫖☕️🎨🖼🎼🎹🔧🔨🪜🛠🧰💸📦🇫🇷

Hey Stephane, I love your vlogs and and the adventures you are involved with in your beautiful Chateau. Glad to see you have finally started working on your lake bringing it back to life. I have another wonderful vlog I watch called Littlest Chateau the couple who own it are working hard on their renovations also, their main issue right now is wood worms in their wood beams up stairs in the Chateau. They are a great couple with 2 small children full of love and laughter that make me so happy to watch their Littlest Chateau vlog. Their numbers are really low so if you have a chance I would appreciate you mentioning them some time, they have had their Chateau only a year now but are trying hard to bring it back to its glory days. Great job by all at Lalande to improve on Daddy's tribute fountain garden. I'm not sure how much actual shade Davey's trees will provide, but they certainly will provide much needed greenery and elevation. Grant's contributions to the courtyard border have greatly enhanced the overall space. The whole courtyard is becoming so esthetically beautiful that you may someday be recognized for the triumphant transformation from a barren plot of dirt to a majestic oasis of tranquility.

I adore the courtyard and having faith for Davy's vision is inspiring (he's so sweet). As an artist, I feel this is a wonderful way to showcase the value and result by employing artists and designers worldwide. Thank you also for making me feel like another one of your friends in the kitchen, thanks to the way you film your vlogs. Plus at the end I realise I have a big goofy smile on my face. Thank you for making me especially happy for that half hour. Hope you all have a lovely week.

The transformation is astonishing. The pleached limetrees especially soften the facade of the chateau and I love the ever changing play of light and shadow they will bring to the courtyard. So much hard work from everyone!

❤❤❤ Doing the court yard has been the best feature to the Chateau. It has added dignity to the old girl. All your gardens have improved greatly over the years. Can hardly wait to see the gardens completed. Good job all.

Wisteria is beautiful but not up against the chateau’s walls. The vines grow and become so strong they can damage the walls. It is better to grow them farther away over an arbor. They have to be trimmed good every year.

It’s a magnificent transformation Stephanie. I’ve been following your journey since the start of pandemic, where it did not go down well for me mentally, but I found your channel to be a panacea at that time. It’s truly amazing how your love bounces back at you from all those that help to make your home even more beautiful and welcoming. ❤️

The courtyard is absolutely lovely. Since it will be a while before you can take the supports down for the lime trees, you may consider planting and training a vine (perhaps jasmine) to grow along the eight posts leading into the garden. It may soften the look a bit...and hopefully wouldn't interfere with the trees.

You are very fortunate that so many wonderful skilled people are attracted to the chateau. People such as Grant, who is supposed to be on holiday, yet he installed that lovely stone border as a surprise. He really is a gem & has left his mark on the chateau in so many ways.

Dear Stephanie and all Lalanders, I started watching the playlist of all the Chateau Diaries a few days ago and was so absorbed in the wonderful atmosphere that I forgot to like the more than 100 videos I had already watched!!! Unfortunately I have no possibility of becoming a patron of La Lande. I am broke as I am but if I convert what I have into euros or pounds, than it’s a joke 😅 But after what you said at the end of this video I knew I could do something! Went back and liked all of the 100+ of them!!! I love the atmosphere you created around you and the chateau is beautiful!!!! The gardens too! I would love to be a volunteer one day but alas… meanwhile I enjoy from Brazil all your videos! Lots of love from afar 💚🇧🇷
