Prayer Ban In School:
A Muslim student in London's Michaela School lost a High Court challenge against the school's ban on prayer rituals. The policy, deemed discriminatory, was contested by the student. The school argued that allowing such rituals could undermine inclusion among students.
School founder and head teacher Katharine Birbalsingh hailed the ruling as a victory for all schools. In an 83-page judgment, Mr. Justice Linden dismissed the student's case, stating that by enrolling at the school, she accepted restrictions on practicing her religion.

Why do these people who come here ti live think they have the right to interfere with British values. What is even worse is the government is allowing these people to change things to their ways and if we say anything we are racist. If that kid wants to pray during the day then it should have gone to a muslim school, oh and pay the bill for the loss and not the taxpayer.

Because their "God" tells them that they are the "best of nations ever raised up for mankind" and that the rest of us are the "worst of created beings" and their little book has an imperative to subjugate mankind under the hegemony of Islam by whatever means, this is the blunt end of the spear.
If they lose they should pay costs. The person who approved legal aid for this should be named and ask to publicly explain their decision.

No you don't, you supplicate, worship is different.
If I remember correctly Katherine Burbalsingh's (?) rationale was that the person concerned wanted a separate room in which to pray. Since there are quite a few different faiths in her school and since space was already at a premium in her school,she simply could not give in to the demands of various faiths. And yes, most importantly, if you sign up to the standards and requirements of a school, then you abide by those terms of leave. This Head Teacher is truly one of the best in the country.

This country has absolutely had it. This continual crawling to appease one religion is seriously out of hand. You can't help feeling we're being ethnically cleansed from within - and the establishment is doing f*** all about it. Escalating civil unrest seems inevitable.
Meanwhile our own people and veterans sleep on the streets. Sickening.

Oh come on it wasn't the pupil it was the parents and outside factors. There was bullying, by pupils for the non participating ones to go to prayers, wear a headdress. What parents use their child for their own agenda, this girl had to appear in Court. NO this was wrong and do NOT try to glorify it! £150,000 what wonderful things the school Could have done with that money. Do NOT glorify this. We still have a teacher in hiding.
When you lose, you pay the costs.
How many British People who have needed legal help could not get it but these people get it to challenge our country, our values and our way of life. They should not get a ! Penny.
The parents should be repaying the taxpayers back of this £150,000 back PLUS another £150,000 in compensation.😡👎🤨😠

I am fed up with the government funding court cases that are purely based on belief. This, the LGBT person who took a Christian bakery, etc. to court. People who try to force their beliefs on others should not be funded. Then when they fail they should pay for the defence cost as well. Wgen it

How did they get legal aid for a civil case? Even dads trying to get to see their kids have to PAY to even go to mediation BEFORE court. RELGION SHOULD NOT BE IN SCHOOLS!
Lawyers love to bill the legal aid board as they are guaranteed payment and will take anything on these days, also if the family/ child has no money all the better as they will still be paid, if there was a compensation payout then the legal aid board could claim some money back as they / we funded the case...🙄🙄🙄🙄

We either have a secular education system or a faith based education system - given that we have a secular government then the secular education is funded from taxes. If faith based and papering education is wanted then its available - privately in this country or funded by governments in other countries - make your choices.
My understanding is that if you lose a case in court then you pay both your costs and the other side's. Oh, silly me, that doesn't apply if you are a Muslim.
