So many wonderful brands it’s hard to take it all in! Must rewatch and take notes, Jess. Stand outs for me were Sezanne, Polène, and La Redoute. I love how you’re championing the small chic boutique brands. And you’re right- it’s good not to look like everyone else. Unfortunately for me it’s summer all year and I can’t talk myself into buying too much fall clothing. I have 2 huge closets of classically styled fall and winter wear that I haven’t touched in two years! But I will always watch your videos no matter what the subject. Hugs from 🌴🌺😎

What a really lovely video I love classic style with an edgy twist. My budget doesn’t cover these brands so I shop at stores like matalan etc., for similar styles your content inspires me to put together outfits from brands I can afford (along with charity shop finds) x

Hi, Jess. Thanks for my Sunday Jess style fix! I love the Maje blouse you're wearing. And of course that beautiful coral/rust colouerd dress. Actually, I love all the brands. If you struggle to find comfortable shoes, check out two South African brands - Tsonga (boho style) and Froggie (classical style). Wearing their shoes is like wearing big, fluffy pillows. And the great thing is, they both offer a range of shoes in a wider fit. Both brands have online stores. Have a happy Sunday, Jess!

Zadig & Voltaire for sure. 😍 I haven’t bought anything from Sezane yet, but I’m sure I will. Most of the brands I haven’t heard of because they’re not available in Australia, but thank you for sharing them. 🥰

Lovely choices, Jess! I’d like to add Ba&sh to the list - their french vibe is edgy yet wearable. I do really like Sézane but they charge a lot for postage and we pay high import feea here in Switzerland which you don’t get refunded when you send an item back. Ba&sh has all that sorted out for the customer, so I feel much more at ease ordering from them.

Oh really, that's a shame:( I didn't think about import fees which must be a pain. I nearly included Ba&sh and I am really fond of their designs but when I went through everything there was a lot made from polyester it got a bit annoying:/ But I love the shapes and that cool, rock chick vibe they do so well:)

Thank you so so much for the insight! Before couple years at thrift shopping i got myself a Cottoniers longsleeve vest with cute shoulders and a pocket(!!!) and even second hand it looked impeccable quality, as it is now! I did not know about the brand then, but, oh boy la laaa, Will i feel french tomorrow🤭🤭💋

Hi Jess, I have the same cowboy boots from Z&V. I love their styles and my wardrobe is literally filled just with their items. I have them in size 40 (my usual size) and despite they appear to be slim and a bit tight, they are extremely comfortable and I am sure you will find them more and more comfortable if you put them on a few times. Happy Sunday Jess hope you've had a good week. The blouse you're wearing is so pretty. Would love if you could do a 'same style but cheaper' video of the brands like Sezane, Everlane etc that we can get here in the UK, if there is such a thing! I'm also struggling to know where to shop at the moment whilst we can't try stuff on in stores, I find most of the stuff I like/can afford is from H&M but I'm so fed up with everything being out of stock on their website all the time 😒. Oh and girl you are just as stylish as any French woman x

Though I get told off when I show their collections I often think credit where credits due, their conscious and premium range is always spot on for me! And at least they're trying to be more sustainable:) Do you ever look at New Look? A lot of it is not for me but if you sift through you can actually find some fab staples amongst the collection. x

Thanks for another very informative video with your French brand inspirational pieces. What is it with the French? I remember waiting at the airport for family members to arrive here in Greece from the U.K and a French flight would come before and,no matter what the age,the passengers all seemed to carry that air of chic and style which I’ve always envied. I think the Greeks also have a lovely Mediterranean style,as do the Italians- maybe it would be interesting to focus on some of their brands too? You always look very chic and even if some items are too pricey for many,you give a real insight into how to use the shapes,colours and general style to create a similar look.x💗

You're so right, they just stand out a mile don't they but for all the right reasons:) I love Italians distinctive style too, a little more glamorous but still feminine and Australians have that laidback chic down to a tee. Love the boots. I get what you say about your feet after figure skating. I did ballet 6 days a week for 12 years. Ruined my feet. When many of my friends can buy cheap shoes, I can’t. I have a high arch and high insteps plus big bumps on the back of my heel. Only a few brands I can wear and none are cheap. Darn

IKKS is a French brand with a bohemian rock chic sort of vibe. When I used to spend time in Paris in the past I used to like wandering round their concessions in the Bon Marche or Galeries Lafayette.I always wanted one of their bags but couldn't justify another one at the time - I don't know if the complete range is on their website as it doesn't look a particularly wide selection to me compared to the past. Anyway a great selection Jess , I'd forgotten about Sessun which was attractive to me because the founder was from the south of France and not Paris, so it always seemed a bit different. I love the look of Sezane - never bought anything there as although I'm reasonably slim, French clothes are often designed for a rather different body shape to mine and I'm not keen on ordering things and sending them back. If you Jess, or anyone else can give some information about how their sizing compares to other brands that would be great. Have a great bank holiday weekend! x

The only time I’ve noticed something different would be with the Girlfriend jeans which I sized down in but other than that I just buy my usual and worryingly never end up sending anything back!! I have been wanting to purchase from Sézane but have held off bc of my unfamiliarity with their sizing. Would you mind sharing what size you have your camel cardigan in? I typically wear small tops but I will purchase cardigans & jumpers in a medium as I typically like a slightly roomier fit. Thank you

I often noticed you're wearing a lot of pairs of jeans and I understand perfectly because a lot of people loving also fashion wearing often pairs of jeans with a lot of differents looks and I do the same....It seems to be as a tradition in France. We're loving jeans !

My favorites are APC, Sandro and Sessun. I always do a lot of damage at Sessun when I go to Paris since we don't have it in the US.

Love this video for styling and looks ideas., Living in the US makes buying from French brands expensive unless they have US stores/websites. Surprisingly have seen Zadig and Voltaire sweaters at TJ Maxx Online. I made a list of the brands that I can refer to whenever I want some inspiration,. Someone else asked for it, so including it in my comment. Beautiful pieces and great inspirations! I am still kind of thinking if I should order from Sezane, fortunately the pieces I am after are the essentials and don’t need to think when I order. By the way wow figure skating, here is another former figure skater and in the end I ended up in the synchronized team (not sure if that is the right name) as my physics (tall and slim) are not enough for the solo competition. Which figure sharing did you do? Although that was ages ago, nice coincidence and I so know that feet thing because the skates definitely changed our feet. :)

Aah really? So you stand very straight now too!! Haha, I can still hear my coach screaming at me to stand up straight and boy did it wreck my feet!! fun times though:) I think if you've got you're eye on the Sezane 'classics' you should be fine whenever you order. Fashion and Style Edit yes that was important and I also did ballet so there we had to stand with straight posture and everything had to be tip top like there is a string pulling you upwards.😅 Figure skating was my favorite hobby though!💕 And thanks to those hobbies I hardly ever slouch and nowadays yoga keeps my posture straight. As I am new to Sezane, I will first get the wardrobe work horses and then hopefully a few gorgeous other pieces and the Liberty handbag which I have been eyeing now. In fact I love all their pieces so nice to have discovered it through you!✨ Thank you!💕🙏🏻 Oh how lovely ❤️ Annie is a nice name :)

Stephanie ... I was suddenly reminded of seeing men's Days of the Week underwear ... maybe in the 1970s. They were considered humorous, in the cotton-knit jockey style, and sold in bright, childlike colour combinations ! 👨 lol

I can say that my favorite French brand is Target' (pronounced tar zhea) LOL. That is an American department store around here. They do occasionally have some nice clothing, some seasons more than others. As far as these French brands, I need to take a look at them. Have I been missing out? The internet has actually made this kind of transaction more available.

Absolutely:) I actually prefer online shopping. For some reason I tend to get dizzy and stressed out and about shopping! So doing it form the comfort of my own home suits me. I've actually bought the odd thing from Target too, you never know what you might find in there! x

Hi Anna, apologies Im so late replying. You know, I truly believe you should wear what you love and what you feel comfortable in. I'm not hugely keen on the clumpy shoe trend but that's just personal taste. And if you do love that trend you can't beat the original Dr Martens:) x

Hi lovely, here's a video of me unboxing that actual bag when I received it. It goes into a lot more detail about the bag so hopefully you'll find that helpful. In terms of wear and tear, the bag looks as good as new. Truly:) If you look at any of my styling videos I've done recently you'll see the bag how it looks today which is pretty amazing really. x

Fashion and Style Edit I believe you will love her pieces and I know you could really put them together beautifully. I am a huge fan, I’m very basic, hippy boho chic if I describe it. I do find I buy more quality items and certainly think for I purchase . I like being able to make it time effective to get dressed. I have long curly hair and going through my grey journey for about a year how. Because of the humidity in Florida my make up is very simple. At 58 I’m all about rocking my crown and feeling fabulous!! Regardless 💕🌺
