I absolutely agree with what you said in terms of "capsule wardrobe snobbery" haha. I tried my absolute best to stick to 30-40 pieces but it just never worked for me 🤷‍♀️ I always felt deprived and uninspired because fashion for me is a joyful thing, and almost like a hobby. I also just made my winter capsule wardrobe and I kept around 70 pieces and I love it! It's so freeing when you don't limit yourself anymore 💁‍♀️😊😍

Hello, how are you? Feeling nice and Christmassey I hope? So, the big declutter! Much needed again! Does anyone else's rail get SO messy this quick? Do let me know what you think to the surprise, not the edible one! It felt really good to make this edit of all my favourite Winter outfits and though I was tired by the end the feeling of being super organised was worth it:) I'd love to know any favourites you spotted on my rail? I actually had a go shrinking my Sezane 'Boyfriend' jeans and that seems to have worked quite nicely. Right oh, I'll stop waffling but as always I really hope you enjoy this video and it gives you lots of outfit ideas and inspiration. Big hugs everyone, Jess x

Hello Jess. I just thought I would share my best (and probably weirdest) tip for breaking ind leather shoes and boots! Put on a pair og thick, wet (yes, wet, almost soaked) socks. Then put on the boots and go for a nice long walk. As you are walking your feet will get warm, and so will the wet socks. This will heat up the leather slightly, and it will take shape after your feet and ankles. Trust me, I have done this plenty of times. It is only painful for one day, and then they get so comfortable! Love your videos! Happy Sunday.

I did it!! You were right - a fun and useful process. Found things in my wardrobe that I love and had forgotten about. Also filled a bin liner for recycling. 70 pieces in my capsule wardrobe!

Best Capsule wardrobe video I've seen as you are really doing it on screen&love how you keep checking does the colour palette match,its so logical but thats where I've been falling down. Well done Jessica 🤗😍

well done on your edit and capsule creation. i'm with you on bags and shoes - i could edit them down further but what I have left bring me much joy, even if i'm just looking at them, as is the case with a couple vintage bags! Thanks so much Sharon:) It might be worth taking a look for Sezane pieces at the likes of Vestiare Collective, they seem to have quite a lot of their items and hugely reduced in price x

Love the tones obviously also very me, maybe because I have a similar coloured hair 😁 Anyways I am obviously a big fan of Sezane (of which I originally heard from you also) so in favour for all those lovely knits and pieces you chose and of course the coats, the scarfs and the cognac coloured trousers are so nice. I hope you get to wear your blazer and the silk camisole more soon. Heard UK has started on the vaccination process already... . I actually started using hair masks on regular weekly basis last spring for my coloured/highlighted hair and it has made a big difference. This looks a lot simpler to do than I initially thought it would be. My wardrobe is already a bit small but I would like to really focus more on curating what I wear so that everything goes together and I can get multiple outfits out of it. I too have "lots of fine hair" and having started a degree in podiatry this autumn, I'm more stressed than usual (online lectures, new stuff to learn, mature student, juggling my time and energy etc). My hair has gone so dry and brittle, it's breaking off and falling out! Not being able to get to the salon much at the moment isn't helping either!!!! Hey lovely, isn't it strange what stress can do to you not only on the inside but on the outside too. I always used to think it was one of things people say until I experienced it for myself:/ I think you'd probably really benefit from their range too lovely, my hair was in the same stage at yours and it feels like it's finally coming back to life! I'm sure the juggle is hard but I'm always super impressed when anyone goes back to studying. Morning Jess , I really enjoy watching wardrobe tips / capsule , I think where I am going wrong is “watching not doing “ 😂. must try harder ! I use Pantene shampoo and conditioner but more the regular range so probably need to try the range you showed , I have fine hair also highlighted/ bleach for years !! Always need volume ...hope you’re getting sorted for Christmas, I’m so slow this year so will need to start this week, Chris’s virtual concert was so good once the initial glitches with links not working and me panicking about missing it 🤣.. love to you and the family Pauline xxx

It's a bit late in the day for me to start on my winter declutter but I have a day to myself on Tuesday so I will do it then. Have you done a shoe/boot edit? Good morning Jess! You have such beautiful pieces in your wardrobe- I would find it hard to pick out items for a capsule wardrobe and personally, mine gets full as I have so many different moods ! Some days I want to be feminine in skirts and dresses and others,smart and simple or just completely casual.Also my old boho style creeps in now and again ! Hence,my biggest clear out comes when a change of season comes along !! Your hair does look beautifully shiny and healthy and I think a middle parting rather than a fringe is really flattering on you. Hi Alicia, thanks so much for watching:) At Sezane I always choose my normal size and I've found everything fits perfectly. So in knitwear I go for a small, tops a UK10 and jeans or trousers a 28. I don't think I've ever had to send anything back due to sizing so I reckon you're safe with them if you go with your usual size. Hope that helps x

i notice i like jeans and leather trousers now more then ever. I also like blouses and longer dresses or skirts. I dont know why. But it is something i like to wear now. If it is age related i wonder what i like when i am 40

Hi Judith, happy Sunday:) I went for both in a size 28 which is what I always choose in trousers and I'd say they're a perfect fit. I can feel the stretch a tiny bit more in the Arket pair which is strange as they've both got 1% I believe? Two great pairs of jeans to be honest that I think for quality/price are spot on. Hi Jess can i come and shop your wardrobe.. everything you have chosen is beautiful.. I just started wearing ankle boots a year ago as along with some knee highs I bought I also picked up the ankle boots when I was in England . The boots are really beautiful there .

Jess we were in Biggleswade..Bedfordshire..my husband is from Nottingham area so got to see some amazing shops.. we don't seem to have that diversity here. And I certainly will keep watching your channel thankyou

I bought those camel H&M trousers after seeing them in an earlier video. I love them but unfortunately they've skimped on the pockets so that there's not quite enough material and it pulls the line of the trousers. Such a shame as they fit really well into my wardrobe.

Hi Lyn-Marie, oh Im sorry you didn't like the fit as much lovely. Is it possible to cut the pockets out maybe? I often do that as I hate to see the line in my trousers:/ x

@@FashionStyleEdit I shall still wear them. I need to look closely at the construction but I just don't think there's enough material been allowed for the whole area to sit nicely without pulling.

I don't really like skirts either : )

Lovely outfits...but no colour, no pattern...just beige, blushes, white and black. I dont unserstand why all vlogers avoid colours. At least on a scarf.
