In Japan, a woman can walk around in the middle of the night and nothing will happen. An elementary school student can ride a train at midnight. Even in the most unsafe places in Japan, you will probably only be accosted by drunks. And dropped wallets are usually returned.

Zürich, albeit being the biggest city of the country, is so safe, especially compared to where I come from (north of France). Contact an immigration firm to help you with visa, you can’t just move there, french passport doesn’t open this door. A job can sponsor your visa but depends on the job. I agree with needing to earn at least 100k. Rent is at least $500 per WEEK for a small 1 bedroom apartment and there are not many of those in NZ. But lots of houses and units. Which cost more. Or you go flatting. auckland is the only big city with job opportunities and then there is Wellignton- terrible weather and Christchurch with around 300k residents. Rest of nz are small cities and towns under 50k people. And you need to drive, oublic transport is almoust inexistent

My bag was snatched and I lost everything. I was almost raped. Though I’m 100% Japanese, I look SouthAsian. I can’t count how many Japanese guys have suddenly touched my body on the street. A few of them have kicked my leg. I used to live in America. There are two big differences between the two countries. One is, Japanese people think it’s embarrassed to be a victim. Second is, Japanese people believe that their national characteristic is the best in the world. There’s a Japanese girl who was raped in a dorm of American university. After she came back to Japan, she decided to go back to THE PLACE SHE WAS RAPED because she couldn’t stand being considered shame. Many Japanese people get mad to hear that I have faced more crimes and “racism” in Japan than in America. Many of them say it must be my fault(Those Japanese people are very shy and polite to Westerners). That’s why many Japanese people hide that they have been victims. That’s why Japanese OFFICIAL crime rate is low.

Japan does have a lot of s*xual crimes that go unreported there. I've lived in the country for 2 years, and heard many stories of perverts going around flashing themselves, groping women, or stealing underwears, more than my three decades spent in Switzerland. Real estate agencies go as far as avoiding ground floor apartment for their female tenants because of stolen underwears if they leave them to dry outside. It is pretty safe from grave crimes though.

This was a very informative video. However, I do wish that you had included in your assessment some measure of diversity or even attitudes towards diversity. Part of feeling safe in visiting or even living in a country is feeling comfortable. The way to assess this for many people is how the country feels about diversity. We are living in a global world as well as a diverse one, and it's not something that should be taken for granted or ignored because it is a factor for some folks especially as it relates to personal safety. So, if you do future videos on this, I hope you consider it. Thanks

We are indeed safe, but I will say it's a hard country to immigrate to, you have to learn the language and that seems impossible but understandably so, Danes don't understand eachother either, I've been with my boyfriend for 3 years, he is born roughly one hour away from me (car) and I understand him if I'm lucky, 30 percent of the time, so how foreigners learn the language i have no idea, we don't speak it. But on a positive note I don't know where the crisis went, it was here for legit one or two months and then it just left, I mean we got money back last month for energy?? I thought it was supposed to be more expensive?? But yeah that's a good thing. (Don't let the language scare you if you want to move here, we all speak english, well denglish)

@@FPJDK okay, so you think south Jutland and Zealand will understand eachother? Bornholm? I don't know what you are on about, have you seen the Norwegian sketch about Denmark? Its only funny cause it's true. 😂😂 Yes we all will understand the news, cause they talk Rigsdansk wich is saying the words like they are written. I'm from fyn, my grandpa is from fyn and I don't understand half of what he is saying cause of the generation shift. Danish is a really quick changing language thus why in different age groups it will be talked differently. If I go to Northern Jutland or Southern Jutland, I might as well be in Germany, that's the level of words I understand. And for such a small country there is a lot of strong accents, this why we don't understand eachother. If it takes 6-7 hours to drive through our country and we have 32 accents there will be a huge chunk of the population not understanding you, yes they will understand some but not all and the same word will have different meanings.. you can get by most places with rigsdansk and Ofcause if you are in Copenhagen and everyone talks sjællandsk, then you can understand eachother, but Danes in general don't, we have literal translation books from place to place 😂😂 so it's true unless you live in a little bobble your entire life, then you are right. The number 1 most said line in Denmark literally is "Sorry what did you say?".. And the point of my comment was: yes we are safe but if you want to move here, be prepared to have a hard time learning the language... Wich is true as it is one of the hardest in the world..so what was the point of yours?

Yes , I am sad to say I agree with the fact that its hard to immigrate to Denmark. My family comes from Denmark and though I have been there a few times and understand the language , the fact that I was born outside Denmark disqualifies me from returning to my ancestral lands. They said the only other way is as a refugee but thats not possible . I did look up my family tree going back 370 years and found my family originated back then in Haderslev. A Church spire was built by one of my ancestors in Nykobing S , a statue of his father stands in Kosor, and way back another was the chief carpenter for the king at his castle, but due to ignition of gunpowder in the basement , the castle was destroyed with all his hard work.
