Lion Attack Donkey
Donkeys are tough, and I have seen donkeys attack hyenas without a problem, but lions are not hyenas, even though a cackle of hyenas can often give a lot of trouble to the small pride of lions. Watch what happens when lions raid a donkey encampment in this video. The donkeys have no chance as they watch one of theirs being killed. An Asiatic lion can be seen pulling on a donkey behind, dragging him closer to his friend, so they can both kill it.
These lions have invaded what looks like a small village and are causing havoc. I hope no one was out for a late-night walk, or they would have had the surprise of a lifetime. That’s what happens when humans build their homes too close to wildlife. It seems like these lions enjoyed a live feed in this video. Two donkeys can be seen grazing when the entire pride is released into the yard, and the felines do not waste one second attacking and killing the donkeys.
Lion Attacks Giraffe
When a male lion spots a giraffe already on the ground, it quickly runs toward it and jumps on its back. The giraffe tries hard to get back up, and it almost does, but the lion is strong enough to prevent it from doing so. Then, it’s just a matter of time, before the powerful male kills the giraffe. My question is why was the giraffe on the ground in the first place? It’s not like there were other lions attacking it. Look at the immense power of this giraffe. Even with several lions biting and grabbing onto their legs, the giraffe still moves forward, until the load is too heavy to carry, and eventually, it falls to the ground, which means immediate death, especially, once the entire pride joins in on the feast. A pride of six lions surrounds a reticulated giraffe and her calf.
The mother desperately tries to fight off the lions. She keeps her calf as close to her as possible and uses her powerful legs to try and kick the lions away. For a while, she manages to keep them at a safe distance, until one lioness goes behind her back and out of her sight. The lioness pounces on the giraffe's mother's back and claws her way up toward her neck. The shock causes the mother giraffe to run to try and shake the lioness off. As the mother runs, the baby giraffe is left unattended and becomes easy prey for one of the lions as the other lions join the chase for the mother giraffe. This Giraffe is surrounded by at least 15 lions.

I have to agree with the lion being the alpha predator. One day while visiting a circus I had the opportunity to get close to the lion and tiger cages. Both animals were huge, but the lion stunk like crazy and the tiger had very little odor. I could tell both cages had been recently cleaned from the presence of fresh straw.

Like seeing the King of Beasts kill the hyenas. I don't hate hyenas, but sometimes they deserve their fate.
At 6:15, do not underestimate a lions main, almost impossible to scratch through, very difficult to bite through, it is much much thicker than you realize.

Lions and Tiger did share a geographic range in the past and still do in India albeit very narrowly.

There’s a VERY small area that the Asiatic Lion shares with the Tiger! In Gir National park, where the Asiatic lion lives (mostly) the Tiger is now extinct! And the Indian government won’t reintroduce them back into the parks in Eastern India! They think it’s mean to mix the two! Stupid!

When you see how large a giraffe is in person, you will have an all new respect for lions. Lions are much bigger than what people see on these videos. All these animals are much larger in person. Go see them at a safari in Africa. Anyways, for lions to take down a giraffe shows you the sheer power of the pride when they work together.

Lions, in particular, are formidable predators that possess incredible strength and hunting skills. @@theddixusa True statement bro. I also couldn't believe how easily the lions blended into the tall grass. The tour guide had to tell us all to be quiet and pointed to a spot in the grass where we saw nothing. Then, after a while, we saw a slight move, and then the lionesses became visible. They were looking right at us. It was both terrifying and memorable a the same time.

No one ever said, "heart of a tiger"..its for a reason,...the male Lion is nearly fearless and ferocious to the point of recklessness. Its a fighter and a wrestler, plus its full of testosterone thus the huge mane, that protects it from serious injury when in a fight. Thats why, when fighting a tiger, the tiger always goes for the throat, and when it does, it just bites a mouthful of mane

Wow. Lions are way cooler than tigers. Look at all the shit they have to put up with and the animals they have to deal with, making them pound for pound tougher than the tiger. A tiger would have a hard time out here being a loner type of cat. It don't matter how big he is. And lions are not just fighters, they are both fighters and killers.

How does ur brain operate? Lions arent always pack hunters. Lone lions attack and kill bigger preys too. They are just too powerful and ferocious. They just have too much testosterones.
Tour guides have tendency to guiding the lion's next to innocent animals so that they can take content

The lions and tigers have been in the same enclosure for the sole reason of watching them fight, and presumably wagering on the outcome.
Lions are kings of the Jungle because all the other animals that can beat them in their habitat are not predators. The fact that they hunt in groups also helps. One on one, an adult Giraffe would annihilate an adult lion. Although they don't live in the same habitat, adult Lions are no match for adult bears. Adult bears are no match for adult Rhinos and Hippos. Adult rhinos and Hippos are no match for adult elephants.

Not true. mono e mono? tiger has a much more powerful bite than a Lion. Tigers hind legs are more powerful. especially if a Siberian tiger which can weigh up to 700lbs. (Male African Lions weigh at the most 500 maybe 550) goes one on one with a male African Lion, I would bet the kitchen sink on the tiger. However, the advantage Lions have is numbers. Tigers are solitary animals where Lions are sociable and hunt as a collective. Lions are far more intelligent than Tigers because of the fact that Lions live in a hierarchal pride structure.

A tiger will always back down against a lion and will always try to avoid them. The reason is - tigers are solitary predators. They can't afford themselves with such a pointless fight that can lead to injury. Getting even a slight injury might affect their hunting abilities, which may lead straight to death by starvation. So tigers aren't cowards, they're just being clever weighten risks. Male lions are completely is on other hand. They almost don't hunt, they instead fight other male lions to live another day, which is pretty much explains why are they much more aggressive and ruthless towards predators such as themselves. But trust me, once tiger gets a "nothing to lose" vibe it is all over for lion.

It's not in an animals nature to show what we humans would call mercy.They are instinctive animals. Mercy, as we know it, is a foreign concept to them. They look at, weigh the odds and process so quickly that it would make a Vegas card shark(sharp?) look like a grade 1. Karma is a bitch and so is Mother Nature. The oxymoron "Merciless Lion Attacks" ranks right up there with "Government Intelligence".
