Every single time I see these videos pop up, for YEARS, my reaction is always: no way there's 15 more things I don't know about BotW or TotK. Yet here we are. That last fact was insane

Man that last one with the glyphs is crazy!!

The effort the Zelda team puts into small details is already insane, but the sound design is just unbelievable.

Man, it's crazy to think that Tears of the Kingdom has been our for a full year already. I still vividly remember everyone getting hyped for the _trailers_ of this game

So I discovered a glitch all on my own. If you're in a fiery area and you shield and drop a bomb, as if to try to parry the immediate explosion, you can pick the bomb back up but still get the explosion. I guess the bomb item and the explosion exist simultaneously for a frame or two.

That last fact is CRAZY!

I was playing the other day, and I discovered that there is a subtle pink smoke in certain areas of the depths that is wafted when you swing your weapon. Not sure if you guys have covered this one in the series so far, but I had never noticed it before.

I recently discovered that in the low gravity shrine ‘Jump’ if you go back instead of forward at the start, the low gravity goes away.

Yeah the low gravity only occurs in certain areas, so if you go just slightly outside the boundaries they expect you to be in, you can escape the low gravity.

A year since the game launch and I’m still playing it. Loving TotK very much!

Is there another game company that puts that much work in musical nuance? To this day I have occasionally some music bits from SM and OOT from the N64 playing in my head. Standing ovations to the maestros!

3:05 you can also throw a Puffshroom at hives to disperse the bees and drop the hives, and if the hive is on an Evermean, it'll wake it up and automatically disorient the Evermean, so you can just run in and grab the hive without having to use up durability killing the Evermean. Also saves bow durability

The Zelda devs never fail to impress me with their musical Easter Eggs. The fact that "Ballad of the Goddess" is just "Zelda's Lullaby" backward has stuck with me all of these years, and even now it continues to inspire me, so much so that I even wrote my own set of pieces using the same trick. The thing with the Glyphs in TOTK playing the main theme when stitched together is awesome too. I'm not even a huge Zelda fan outside of BOTW/TOTK, but I am a music nerd, and these fun obscure little references that most people won't even know about are some of the coolest things in my eyes.

The Geoglyph Easter egg is sooooo good🔥

It's interesting what they did with the geoglyph BGM because on the newly-announced soundtrack, they included each as a separate track. BotW had a similar thing with Kass's Ancient Songs being sections of the main theme, and they were combined together.

It's always a great day when one of these comes out!

In the A Picture for Woodland Stable side quest, when taking a picture of a goron soaking in a hot spring; you can take a picture of either Jengo or Bohrin at any time, and the game will still register that they are soaking in a hot spring, even if they’re not!

Another thing I found; I may be overthinking it, or maybe it's a musical easter egg. When you upgrade your battery, the forge station hammer sounds are pitched such that, if you swap just two of them, it sounds quite similar to the "major item get" theme from the Metroid series

That last obe gave me goosebumps. I was like, "What's going on!" with a smile on my face. 😁

What the game doesnt tell us by looking is ravios hood. It tells us in its description saying your speed of climbing sideways increases which is true but it doesnt have a symbol like most buffs do. So if you dont read the description you will probably never figure this out

I got hooked again recently after 150 hours last year, and now I’m 650 koroks in. I didn’t even realize a majority of these lolz

actually with the thorns you can also get stuck in there and link won't take damage for a short period of time so you can jump get stuck then jump to dodge them hope that helps.

How tf do people pick out once singular tiny quiet note from a short sequence in one part of the map that they aren't even paying attention to and go "oh wait, that was the 6th part of the main theme slowed down on a different instrument" It took me a while to realise Evermean is mean evergreens

Spoiler Warning: During the Demon King boss fight. During the hero's duel section in the second phase. You take a picture of the champion's weapons. Granted if you do try to do so. You are most likely going to get hit by Ganondorf. This shocked me because of how I thought they were just in the background.

The footage is from the recent GDC 2024 Tears Of The Kingdom panel, but the music examples you'll have to fine by looking for the raw TOTK music files, you'll see them labeled and listed under "SmallDungeon" like shown above.
