Komodo Dragons Hunt Goat
A mainstay of the Komodo diet, you can observe in this video, is how dragons handle goats. Though I doubt the goat agrees, it's love at first sight for this dragon. Prey that meets the Komodo dragon's deadly venom suffers a sudden drop in blood pressure that puts them into shock. Concurrently, the sufferer bleeds to death because the venom keeps their blood from clotting. The finding implies that the venom of many more lizards than was previously believed may resemble that of snakes. I'm not sure if this goat felt anything when the dragon initially attacked it, but boy did he punish the poor thing. Actually, the big and vicious reptile consumes the animal completely, crushing it to death. Komodo Dragons have no pity for their victims, and will rip through anything they encounter, whether it’s dead or alive. Though it can only sustain that speed for a few hundred feet, a Komodo dragon may reach speeds of up to 13 miles per hour. The Komodo dragon mostly attacks by ambush, surprising its victims without warning. A fast person might theoretically outrun a Komodo dragon, but I personally would not attempt it.
Though the Komodo dragon looks to have little legs, it is a very quick runner. Mostly, they employ their speed to exploit their prey while in the striking zone rather than to find it or get from one place to another. Once the dragon touched this baby goat, it was doomed from the beginning, because of its poisonous saliva filled with deadly bacteria. This is one tenacious little female goat that, rather than trying to flee, chooses to face a dragon head-on. The goat fights on and causes the dragon issues for a few seconds before running off with the dragon having to chase it. The sad, wounded, and bleeding tiny animal is finally made into a pretzel by the reptile, but it certainly deserves a medal for trying.
Komodo Dragon VS Wild Boar
It’s the first time I have seen a Komodo dragon approach three potential meals and instead of grabbing one of the wild boars to eat it, it decides to eat what the boars are eating, which looks like some disgusting pablum formula. A second dragon arrives, but neither of the two lizards ever try to attack the boars. What strange behavior from these usually aggressive predators that attack whatever they see. I guess they found the wild boars too adorable to kill and eat. When a monstrous Komodo dragon spots a young wild boar in a tiny waterhole, he immediately tries to grab it, but the little guy runs out as fast as he can, only to be caught a few seconds later by the dragon.
Curiously, another wild boar was in the same waterhole, but never moved, hence, it’s as if the dragon never saw it and focused on the one that ran instead. Sometimes, it’s better to keep a low profile than to show other animals how fast you can run. Another wild boar was in the wrong place at the wrong time and was crushed by a Komodo dragon. The dragon breaks the wild boar into pieces as he’s eating him alive, and the pressure of the dragon’s jaws on the wild boar’s body squeezes urine out of him, which is not a pretty sight. Wild boar is a known food of Komodo dragons. Apex predators, the dragons eat a varied menu which includes snakes, deer, water buffalo, and even smaller Komodo dragons. Opportunistic hunters, will ambush their target, overwhelming and killing them with their size and strong bite, and if that doesn’t work, their bacterial venom will do the rest.

I’m not sure anyone could dream up a fictional predator much more horrifying than a Komodo dragon.

Years ago, I went to Komodo, and with a guide armed with just a stick, we walked calmly among these monsters. Today, after watching this video, I don't know if I would do it again

Their venom & toxic saliva takes HOURS to work. All the smaller animals are eaten alive. A large prey item is bitten on the leg, and then they will patiently follow the prey for HOURS even days until the prey succumbs & collapses. They will eat any animal, alive or dead, including humans. I wonder if they’d eat sea urchins 🤔 bc if so, we’re having a serious problem with purple urchins on the West Coast here.

The world of wildlife is incredibly fascinating, but it also comes with its dangers. Animal attacks are a reminder of the power and unpredictability of nature. From shark attacks in the ocean to bear encounters in the forest, it's important to respect their habitats and understand that we're often intruding into their territory

Videos like these show everything that is wrong with AI-produced and narrated videos. It's a mix of bad science, sensationalism and probably a gore fetish. The narration is contradictory, the video includes other monitors, it splices nonsensically to fit a narrative (like when an adult deer becomes a baby deer?!) and it gets basic facts wrong all in the service of inflating the making komodo dragons look more dangerous than they are.

The narration is terrible. Contradictory and full of mistakes, both grammatical and logical.
