Unfortunately for him he’s always gonna be part of rugby fail/missed try videos after that one. Bit of silverware takes the edge off though

Some of those have become classics by now. I was expecting the Samoan 7s one where the guy with the ball already in-goal passes to his teammate, but forward.

Youve got to feel for the ones that weren't being cocky.

It still amazes me that professional rugby players carry the ball over the line in one hand, especially when it’s an almost guaranteed try (not counting those wonder tries where one hand is necessary). I learnt not to do that when I was 10.

Stockdale one still makes me sad, would have went 9 points clear and then Marshall’s try would have surely sealed it

Great video. I always feel like that changing of hands to put the ball down with your favored one might be the most risky thing you do. It's inviting problems.

10:10 In all fairness to Christie it wouldn't have stood as he was offside from the little kick before he fumbles it.

In fact, I reckon he tries to let it go at the last second because he realises this.

As an Ulster fan the Stockdale one still hurts me to this day. I have no doubt that if he grounded it we would have been in the Semis of Europe.

Yeah but you also have to acknowledge the fact that he was amazing in the Six Nations what won us the Grand Slam and then beating the All Blacks. He made the boys in black look like a pub team. Man I wish he was still playing for Ireland.

He’ll be back I’m sure. As an Ulster fan he’s back from injury this coming season so he has a chance to get back into the Ireland team. Ireland are blessed with so many back options it’s mad

"YES YES YES YES YES" Farrell has done it again, only he has no one to blame but himself. He has dumped an absolute dolly of a try, under absolutely no pressure from the opposition and what has he done? He has dropped the ball in the in goal area. Serves you right you bully. My word Finn Russell clearly fluffs it up in the corner but still has the audacity to jump in celebration. What does he think he is doing? That's not even an uncertain fluff, he doesn't have even a fingertip to the ball before it touches the ground.

Petition for *Matt Dawson to take equal share of the blame for Ben Kay’s botched try* in the 2003 World Cup final - 6:00 here. I always thought Kay just ballsed it up, but that is a weird pass from Dawson. Could have given it straight away and put it just in front of Kay to run onto. 100% would’ve caught it and fallen over the line. Easy. Instead Daws did an unnecessary double pump, turned his body excessively and sort of floated it just behind where Kay’s hands would naturally be. Kay’s been the scapegoat here for nearly 20 years and I think it’s time to set the record straight. #JusticeForBen

Wow this is the worst video ever! I love it

The first Hogg one is the worst. Not technically, the Owen Farrel one is one the worst fails technically, but for me the Hogg one is clearly the worst because he went on to celebrate like it was scored. He absolutely knew that he hadn't.

Love how many haters let Hogg live rent free in their head, three missed opportunities v Ireland, first 2015 when very well tackled in the dying moments by Heaslip, second in 2020 when placing in the corner and third in 2022 when not executing a 2 on 1 and they pretend he’s overrated! 3 Lions tours, two player of the tournament in the six nations, over the last 10 years there’s not been another 15 who’s been that consistent in the northern hemisphere, but 2/3 mistakes and they lap it up!

@@chaz.92 I’ve never seen any other player do that before! I admire your obsession though! For the record, he’s a bit off his best in 2022, but still one of the best players of his generation, also wouldn’t have been my choice for Scotland captain (Ritchie or Cummings for me)
