15 Minute Rapid COVID-19 Nasal Swab Antigen Test, Canary Islands, Gran Canaria

Video: 15 minute rapid COVID-19 antigen test, Canary Islands, using the antigen nasal swab method. Negative COVID certificates, antigen or PCR, are required now in Gran Canaria and all the Canary Islands for visitors and tourists checking into hotels and other accredited tourist accommodation. The certificates can be either PCR or antigen.
November 10th, TravelMedia.ie Managing Director, Michael Collins took a 15-minute rapid antigen test while in the Canary Islands. The test was a quick nasal swab organised by his hotel, the Seaside Sandy Beach (Seaside Collection).
From Nov 14th all hotels in the Canaries will require negative COVID test certificates from guests at check-in. Certificates can be paper or digital.

@@Travel_Media Your test was nothing like the one I just had. He went in both nostrils and swirled the swab around like he was stirring coffee 😫

Just a pity it's a bloody rip off in England some places are charging £150 that will no doubt stop tourism for a family of 4 it's a extra £600 on top of your holiday

As tests roll out as 'the norm' we hope to see the rates reduce in both Ireland and the UK. Thank you for commenting.
