Hi everyone, thanks for joining me in this 15 minute yoga class to bring some TLC to your spine. This is a great sequence to do to help improve your back flexibility and relieve back pain. We'll be focusing on essential spinal movements which is great for those of you who spend a lot of time sitting down.
If you're looking to get deeper backbends or just want to feel better along your upper, mid and lower back, this is a great sequence to do on a regular basis. It can also help you improve your posture. We'll have a few chest and shoulder stretches as well. No props are needed and this is yoga class suitable for all experience levels.

could you give links to other yoga practices which helped your round shoulders problem please? thank you and good luck.
I'm a musician and us upper strings are often particularly stiff around our upper back. So this was a very very lovely stretch, especially to do in the morning before a long day of playing my viola. :) thanks you and namaste from Germany!! xx

Great reminders about pushing your bottom arm into the ground for thread the needle. I was so sore after a hard upper body TRX workout and this hit the spot.

I did yoga for a full year with you back in 2020, then I stopped a year ago because I moved into a tiny house and have no space to practice but a small narrow hall in which my mat justly fits into, but this year I'm determined to get back into it, and this practice felt amazing. Last month I was in a tiny hotel room, with barely enough space to walk around the bed. I had to practice in the entry way, positioning my mat just so to thread the needle - reaching into the bathroom on my left and the wardrobe to the right. Enjoy getting back into it!
