Thank you for reminding us of these lovely films. In my opinion, Kyss Mig had some of the most natural lovemaking scenes and a great ending. I also loved the music and every now and then the last song sticks in my brain.

“Out at the wedding” is a fun film!

Thank you for this wonderful list! Two of my favorite happy ending are I Can't Think Straight and Nina's Heavenly Delights.

Heartland has a hopeful ending. This underrated film features a lesbian who wrote the screenplay as well as stars as the lead.

I would say yes, there are definately enough thrillers to make a list. I know that KZreadr Evelyn Dar enjoys, thriller/horror and similar films, I wonder if she has a list like that?

I'll probably never get tired of pointing out one of my favorites that hardly ever appears in one of these lists because it's a Japanese/German coproduction where English subtitles are hard to come by, anyway, if you get a chance, check out the 2006 film "Love My Life".

I'm so glad you enjoyed it! It's a rare historical sapphic film for having an unabashed happy ending.

Oh I really like so many on this list, and there are some I haven't seen that I'll have to check out! Some other happy endings: Claire of the Moon Chutney Popcorn (I *think*- I haven't seen it in awhile) A Luv Tale (short, only like 45 min) Me, Myself, and Her (Italian, has English subtitles) Liberty's Secret (super cheesy) And I didn't do it on purpose, but turns out all of these are on Tubi!

@@inara225 maybe we are talking about different movies? The one I'm thinking of is the Nicole Conn one where a woman in a loveless hetero marriage hires a female sex worker then they fall in love but the woman dies at the end. Is that the movie you're talking about?

Oh I remember some of the movie you've mentioned ! I kinda agree with you both. It's a happy in a way because (spoiler incoming) she finds love and passion she was looking for and they both share an intense and caring relationship... before she dies. I guess it can be categorized as bittersweet and/or tragic like 100% shipper suggested ? I really like this movie, it's too bad she had to die at the end :'c Loving Annabelle could also be categorised as such because (spoiler incoming) the teacher ends up going to jail iirc ?

Probably not as there are so many of them and because it's often indie made by queer women they mostly all tend to have happy endings. I did do a list of my fave webseries a couple of years ago though, I think they all had happy endings.

Thanks for the list. I watched Pariah and Imagine you and me. I recommend them. About "kid with special needs" I know disabled people have many different opinions about the labelling. I am not fond of "with special needs". We all have needs but special needs is a new euphism for disability. There is nothing wrong about the word. Its rather the living situation disabled people face due to the fact that if you're disabled you can't oftentimes function as others. Which in a capitalistic system and therefore the rivalry between all of us makes the materialistic situation poorer for disabled. That doesn't imply one is not able to exist in it but it makes it more difficult to function and produce the enough profit for a capitalist.
