Are any of the lincoln pennies suppose to have the close a m on the reverse in any year

Thank you!! My son passed away last yr due to Covid:( he was 43. When he was born we bought him a really big bank and it was going to be his when we passed, NO PARANT SHOULD OUT LIVE THEIR CHILD!! A few weeks ago I got his bank out it was full of change. So I am thankful that I have this because I know he put the money in there with his little hands and that makes me feel closer to him. I hope I will find something of value in this and it has given me something to do. I had given up and was searching his things to be closer ,.so I think he helped me find something to help me carry on. I am enjoying looking at the coins and watching your video's, they have helped me so much, so thanks again.

So sorry for your loss. My wife passed away in 2020 I understand your pain. We purchased these different coins because my wife and I bought coins for our kid😊 I hope they appreciate it thank You for sharing. To get given to them.

Am 60 years old & never knew about these double & triple dye struck on bronze planchettes or other but, this was a good lesson to teach to this old dog. Appreciate it bro. God bless.

Like many have pointed out, it's not worth anything until someone pays you for it. This is especially true in coin collecting. Finding valuable circulated coins can be done, but they are as rare as hens teeth and getting paid for them is equally as rare.....

Hi, love how informative your videos. I have a 2009 D penny, professional life and on the back his face is missing and it does not appear to be altered. It might be from the grease. Is that something I should have checked out?

So sorry for your loss. You all be careful out there. They told me I had Covid when I was in the Hospital. They put some kind of breathing mask on my face. I told them, I didn"t need it because I could breathe. The mask They put on my face had no air coming out. They were suffocating me. I put one of my fingers underneath the mask (ventilator), where they wouldn't be able to see. That let the air in. If I had not done that I would have died from suffocation.

I just began watching your channel. I have a collection of coins from when I was a little girl. It was a thing I would do with my dad and great aunt. I still have all of the coins & $2 bills. How would I go about getting those appraised or do research about worth in terms of value? Thank you so much for your informative videos- you do a fantastic job!

I had a quarter one time I heard somebody say that I think Barack Obama said he's going to court he's wanting to put in God we trust on the outside of it I'm almost sure I had one one time and I thought he started making them and I got rid of it and by mistaken it says on the outside of in God we trust on the outside of the coin there on the edge of it you know with it that have a copper things on the edge of it it had that on in God we trust on that I didn't have no point I wonder if they're worth anything I don't know that's the first one I've ever seen probably the last one I was just wondering if you could let me know and then I have I have a quarter that's on the outside of it's real smooth and I don't know what that's about I miss I've never seem like that either I'll get what year it was but it's all smooth around the outside the edge of smooth I don't know but anyway I was wondering what you think about it if you could tell me something about it appreciate it you have a merry Christmas and happy New Year

I want to thank you for all this information your always providing for us it’s helped me with a lot of my coins I have found. Now I went to an estate sale and found two awesome coin books with just about all uncirculated coins and some with all kinds of errors on them the thing is I absolutely can’t afford to grade each and every coin is there maybe a suggestion you have for me on what to do about getting some of these coins graded I even have a bunch of very special coins that you be mentioning on some of your other videos about some very well known coins? Please your help will be such a blessing to me and also again thanks for all the videos you share with the great information that helps people like me that loves to learn and find all kinds of coins and currency

Wow totally impressive. I definitely need to get a coin scale and a coin microscope. I have a 1983 but I weighed it on a gram scale it doesn’t have decibel points but it fluctuates between 3 and 4 mainly falls back to the 3 g. You’re very knowledgeable dude. You have a lot of passion

my wife’s father was a truck driver before, during, and after World War II. Every day when he would come home from work, my wife in the late 50s would ask him for money for her piggy bank. He would empty his pockets into her bank. she filled one bank with silver only, and another bank with pennies only.. both of those banks were filled before 1961 and placed in the attic. Each of those banks is about the size of a gallon of milk.. my wife will not let me go through those coins just to create a catalog. I am not into coin collecting, but I did work outside for the utility company I recently retired from for 29 years. I found money every day practically. Especially in shopping center parking lots where they push the winter snow into large piles. When that snow melted in March/April, I got into the habit of going over in that area and looking for coins. One day I found almost 4 dollars worth of change in one spot. Not so much anymore because everybody uses debit cards and they don’t carry change in their pockets when they pull their car keys out and drop it.. but. Every penny I have ever found, I have put in different banks that I have completely filled with found change, and I have $97 in paper that I have found. Two of those bills are silver certificates.a $20 and i think a $5.. my wife worked in the trash department of a large bank downtown. I would pick her up after work, and on Fridays, I told her to always get me $10 worth of the old large silver dollars, Eisenhowers I think they are. I have a bank about the size of a coconut completely filled with them it was filled before 1977.. and finally, the day that the Susan B Anthony coins came out, I bought four rolls of those Susan B Anthony dollars that are a little bit smaller or bigger than a quarter..Three of the rules I never opened. I did open one of the rolls because there was some type of thing on the Internet that the printing around the edge of the coin was upside down on some of the coins which made them very valuable. I do have some of the coins with the printing around the outside edge of the coin that is opposite of what the rest of the coins are. I wonder if they’re actually worth more?

This channel is great! This is what coin collector videos should be like. Great information, and showcasing the different coins so people can better learn what to look for. I like and appreciate the to-the-point presentation, without a lot of filler conversation within the consecutive display of coins. Just very nicely presented, and worth watching. I came across a 1974 quarter and where the p or d is supposed to be its a dob of silver.. there's no letter..the coin feels and looks a little different.. I'm a newbie and just curious..I've come across a few cool coins and I don't know what to do..btw your show is awesome..

One way to find out if a penny has anything other than copper in it, is to look at the outer rim of the penny you'll be able to see the layers

I have so many mint defects I don't know really where to start, I have a many 1944 Penny's ; one I have just found looks like it came straight from the mint, beautiful penny for that year, also I have a 1944 penny that it looks like they for got to stamp the 1 and 9 on it, the 44 is very clear to see. Also many of my quarters it's really hard to make out if it is a s or a d. Can you do a show on this please. Some of the mint marks are impossible to make out. Some of them looks like the mint just put a eye dropper of Silver on them. Thank you for your show , I never miss one. You have taught me so much. Pam Jacobe

@Couch Collectibles I have a 1977 D Kennedy Half Dollar. How do I know if it was struck on a silver plancet. Mine looks like it has half silver & half copper on the rim. Also, I'm informed you can tell by it's weight ( 11.34 gms). Also, I haven't had it graded by PCGS. It would be nice if this is the $12,954 half dollar sold at auction. Question: Is it necessary to clean collectible/ valuable coins?

Hello there, learning lots thanks to your videos, which leads to my question. I have a 1969s Lincoln cent, that weighs only 2.21g, is the same diameter as a normal penny, but is thinner than a dime. It's not in mint condition, and has an expected amount of wear for its age. Have you heard of/ seen such a coin? I can not find any info on something similar, and am curious to know if i may have something valuable. Thanks again, cheers!

My grandfather started saving bicentennial quarters the year I was born. He gave them all to me when I turned 20 right before I went into the military. I think I have about 300-400 of them but they are all in an antique piggy bank that I can't bring myself to crack open so I can inspect them...but I am really curious if I have any of the really valuable ones in there

I have a 1983 penny that weighed at 3.7 what should I do? I went to my favorite coin store and they told me it's not worth anything but after viewing your vids I believe it's made out of brozen. Anyways I believe it's worth sending in to get graded... what ya think?

I’m organizing all of my change/coins based off of the year it was made…. Any recommendations on a website, app, spreadsheet set up, to check by the year to find rare coins or coins worth money? I feel like when I google by the year, I get all kinds of things pop up, but not a single link that goes through those years by including everything to look out for.

I found a 1943 Lincoln steel cent with reeds on the edge over Lincoln's head. It looks like it may have been struck on a dime planchet. I'm planning to get it graded by PCGS. I'm excited. Dave O.

The new 2019 quarters, are there any errors that I need to look for? Most of the attention on the new mint Texas quarter? Also a penny that's blank on the front and the normal art on the backs guesstimation on its ballpark value.

I dont know of any double dies or anything like that. You never know though. Off centers, die caps and all those errors can happen on any coin.

@ Couch Collectibles Ive got a 1963 D that is completely blank on the reverse wondering if I should get graded I've only been collecting since March when I got put on hospice actually May, sorry of this year. The coin weighs 3.11and I was just wondering is it worth it I don't see very well anymore I have a brain tumor it's making coin collecting rather hard I'm worse than a raccoon I love shiny baublesI'm having issues getting rid of coins just because they're so pretty some of them and I'm already seeing things a little cockeyed so I also cannot tell if there are any errors in this is really making life rough on me but I'm trying to work on my bucket list before it's too late and I really really am hoping this is something how do I find out

when finding coins that are worth a lot, are they worth more after being graded or can you get that close to value depending on condition, but not graded?

Watch some videos on how coins are graded, with some it doesn't matter as much because of the rarity but when coins are less rare the grading process matters a lot more. grading probably matters in most cases but there are a lot of coins out there that don't have to have a good grade to be worth money because of the rarity. You cannot expect someone to paint a broad brush like that in a single comment. Keep in mind it is expensive to grade coins... You could be expecting to pay 25 dollars to have a single penny graded...

If u have a rare and potentially high value coin have it pcgs graded and preserved before listing on Heritage Auction
