Top 50 Most Valuable Pennies In History
Updated For 2023: The Top 50 Most Valuable U.S. Pennies are constantly changing, and I tried to do my best to do a quick runthrough of some of the highlights of the best errors, varieties, key dates, proofs, patterns, mis-strikes, and other craziness that has happened at the U.S. mint over the past 167 years or so since small-size cent coins started up in 1856!
There have been some re-pricing in coin markets, with certain coins skyrocketing up the ranks, while other coins fall significantly down in value - with one of them going from $1,700,000 in a private sale to $840,000 in public auction (and falling out of #1). I came right to your channel to see if you had a 1955 double die Lincoln Cent & you did!! "Thank you!"😊 At -- 5:03 -- I've got a nice red double die 1955 in a small plastic bag. It was in with some other saved change. It also has the CLOSED "AM" -- Would that add any value? I'll try Goggleing it. Pays to do spring cleaning!
I definitely don’t have any of those in my collection.

Thank you for the informative, succinct video! You must know it’s immensely appreciated as most others drag their heels meandering, speaking without a sense of purpose or intent. So thank you! Plus, a lot of other videos just show like 10 or 15 of the same pennies everyone has seen a gagillion times over; thank you for the new, less common ones! Much appreciated!

Thanks

I have a penny it's a 1981 penny no mark to tell where it was made , Philadelphia or Delaware has nothing on it
Do you have to have it graded to get it to sale for as much as you're saying and where is a good place to sell it if it's not graded and if it is
I bet you would’ve made more money off of this if you want to split up and did five parts. This is really good information thank you

I had a double die 1955 about 12 yrs ago rolling change to take to the bank..I remember looking at it saying how cool it was... but unfortunately I didn't start learning and getting into collecting until a few months later when it was way too late...I hope it found its way to someone who appreciated it!!

❤I start collecting
@diegudr, The;1974 aluminum penny was from a father who worked at a mint to a son. A few coins may have been accidental,, but the majority of error coins that got into circulation were probably deliberate.
I need some help with deciding on a few coins to graded
I have steel pennies, V nickle, wheat pennies, old quarters, but today I was rolling my pennies to cash in I found a penny with the freemason symbol on it! It above the date- next to Lincolns face what did I just find, it looks awesome. I've never seen this penny ever before.

I have a 1955 penny no mark reverse not double died but it is little off printed from not being centered during print so words almost on the rim should be worth something right?

Read the red book description of the Indian head Penny . The face is of Liberty with an Indian feather headdress . It is NOT a depiction of a Native American

1943 and 1944 are the two oldest I've got at least for pennies. My grandma the other day gave me a penny bank she started for me in 1991 she recently couldn't add anymore it was too full! Well finally reconnected with my family and she got a chance to give it to me! I've been so busy all weekend and every chance I've had I've been digging through them. So many cool pennies from so many different dates so many good condition ones I have a damn near PERFECT 1964 offset stamped one the in god we trust is on the rim of the coin way off centered

When I was a child, I loved seeing coins with errors and defects. Knowing they might've been valuable, I wish I saved all of them. 😂
I’ve got a 1975 finger feeder error right on the Lincoln memorial any ideas on value?
Back in the early 90s I found a full full adult hand full of old pennies in my grandma's old silver and porcelain coffee pot and I ask if I could have them because I had seen the wheat penny at that point I had never seen one and I was captivated on it well there was 5 other pennies in there , out of the 5 pennies 3 of them had different dates 1943 , 1944 and 1945 or 1942 and what's weird is I remember this happening like it was yesterday enough to remember that I absolutely know there was 3 different dates but don't remember the 3 date because of my memory paying more attention to seeing doubles of 1 of the dates or even 2 dates ether or if that makes sense, but these were the steel pennies but I remember seeing 3 dates, asking my grandma why in the heck are these silver colored, and of she gave me a brief rundown not really letting her finish before I went and contemplating licking my new pennies and adding them to my collection lol not literally licking them just expressing how I was captivated that much more seeing them not having a copper color, , I added them in with the 2 Lincoln pennies I had found in an abandoned house with Nixon's side siluette stamped into them, we didn't have the Internet care back then, ok sorry for the jokes, in all seriousness I do remember 3 different dates, and of course not long after a few years my whole coin collection got stolen out of my 59 Ford panel, my grandma had been working on my collection my whole life and before, it's just sad people take what doesn't belong to them, my grandma did this for all of us bless her life RIP but yah that my story sorry so long 😢
