I just did the same thing. Bought a 1987 Grady White 20 Overnighter, from the 1st. owner. This boat was sitting for 7 years. But now it's a great boat repair shop. Good luck with your monster boat.

Ben, they make a fabric dye in a spray can that I’ve seen many car resto channels use to dye stained and faded seats and carpets that look fantastic and they swear by it. I think it’s a rust oleum product. A gold or even a splash of black would look nice.

Quite the boat, wow. That's one good thing about driving newer Dodge trucks, you'll get to meet a lot of nice mechanics.

It helps when your clutch fan is working. That was the issue, no cooling air flow

I have same issue with fan of my Dodge in 1998 car was just 3 years old.

You guys did a great job on that express cruiser. I want to work on mine, gas engine. Any pointers for an apprentice like me?

Shes still a work in progress! My best advice when it comes to restoring boats or bringing something back to life (lets be honest, this boat should have gone to a scrap yard)... Never cut corners. If you're going to fix something, fix it the right way using the right methods and materials. It will save you time, money, and head aches in the future. Nothing about a boat is cheap, so don't be cheap when fixing it back up! I've learned the hard way many times.

Electric Fan clutch turned out to be broken on the truck hence why we over heated and blew the power steering pump.

It's not worth it to buy an old hull , even a searay,,,, the trans and stringers are shot,,,,old plywood ,,,,believe it !!!!
