1436 Jon boat setup, simple is sometimes better, why I set mine up the way I did. Plus a fun day camp.
Жүктеу.....

I enjoyed this video. You have a very cool (sort of private) spot to hang out and chill out. No one going to brave the weather and cold water right now except hard cores like yourself. Well done.

Nice setup! Did you custom build the storage box or buy it? If so where can I buy one? Thanks.

Thank you for asking. The box is called a Toho rig and it is made to be a live well for John boats I do not use it for that. It makes a great storage box and like I said in the video it has a drain hole in the bottom in case any water gets in there I did not alter mine. I could still use it as a live well, but it makes a better storage box for my uses. I do not know if the company is still in business or not.

Have you clocked to see how fast it runs with the 6hp?

You know I have not, the boat moves pretty fast for it’s size, I have seen other channels clock their speed with a phone and I am embarrassed to say I don’t have that app I will try to look that up

No worries I’m just looking at a similar setup for myself so I was just curious. Thanks for the video

Did I miss it ? What brand of boat is it? I've got an old 1975 Alweld 14 36 jon boat. Thinking I need a 6hp tohatsu or Suzuki..or Yamaha..??? Your little tohatsu seems to be doing a fine job. Probably gets great fuel mileage
