I have a much better idea. Stop swearing altogether - it's a lazy, coarse, rude, offensive, ignorant and ugly habit. Practise NOT swearing and make that a habit. It will make you a pleasanter person to be around.

Nothing pretentious like someone who condemns swearing, and proceeds to complain about it with words like lazy, ignorant, rude. Not everyone flip their lids with Queen's English

@@Boopierthanmost I think you'll find that is "nothing as pretentious as" and presumably it's the King's English now; though heaven knows we should bin the ridiculous "Royal Family" nonsense. I'd stand by every adjective I used, and I love being both woke and pretentious. I'd rather have a dictionary and a thesaurus, than a potty-mouth.

@@ikaria2023 A world where swearing is not de rigueur in the everyday language of conversational intercourse. Where "Are you OK, I was worried when you hadn't arrived by half-past?" is not answered by " This town is a shithole. The fucking bus didn't soddin' come. I bloody rang for a fucking taxi, but the service is shit and it took 20 mother-fucking minutes for the cab to arrive and then the cunt of a driver didn't even know the bastard route." Would that style of discourse be something with which you are familiar?
