    I remember hearing about this case as it was developing and I genuinely thought that it was gonna end up becoming a body recovery, then the first footage of the boys in the cave came out and I was shocked that they were still alive down there. Then I felt a sense of dread over the thought of HOW they were going to get them out or even if they COULD get them out and my earlier worries of it becoming a body recovery re-emerged, which made me feel even more dreadful over that thought because the thought of them being found alive but unable to be rescued felt far worse to me than if they had just found them dead instead because everyone would’ve had a glimmer of hope that maybe this will all turn out alright only for it to be shattered. Then the retired Military diver died and I was getting worried again thinking that at the very least not all those kids were gonna make it. I am still shocked to this day that the entire team was able to get out of that situation alive AND without any long lasting injuries, along with the fact that throughout the entirety of that situation only 1 person lost their life, the fact that that number was so low really just shows how nobody was dropping the ball on this rescue operation. I hope the family of Saman Gunan are doing well and know just how much of a hero their loved one is, it’s almost like he died so that nobody else could.

    Wow. Not gonna lie. You had me in tears multiple times during this video. A few thoughts I have regarding this story are as follows: 1) The people of Thailand are amazing. The world would do well to learn as much as they can about Thai history and culture. The farmers for example, who willingly sacrificed their only source of income in order to make the eventual rescue even remotely plausible in the first place make a pretty strong case for this IMO. 2) I absolutely love how everyone in this story came together from all over the world to rescue the boys, their coach, including the 4 seals and even the three locals who managed to somehow get themselves trapped within the cave as well. 3) the doctor who gave his life during the operation did not do so in vain and I hope his spirit rests in peace. 4) Without the expert divers' wisdom and guidance this would've most certainly ended in trajedy. No doubt about it. 5) the fact that not one of those kids' lives were lost during their extraction is nothing less than miraculous. The probability of this outcome must be simply astronomically unfathomable. 6) those kids and their coach deserve a lot of admiration and respect in their own right for having managed to maintain their sanity and for being as brave as they were in the face of such a seemingly hopeless situation. 7) and lastly, I just wanted to say to you sir, I think you told this story very very well. I for one am impressed. Well done. And for whatever it's worth I subscribed and liked and even shared this immediately after having watched this. Thank you. Please do keep these coming. 🤝 Respect

    You left out crucial points such as Rick Stanton and John Volathen giving up on the rescue and the children while other divers laid the safty guideline through the most complex and crucial parts of the cave, while the British divers were sightseeing temples. Or the British divers refusing the help of the Euro Divers who became essential to the outcome of the rescue. Or that it was the Australian doctor's who came up with on how to dive the children out. And you forgot to mention that the Brits downplayed the involvement of Governor Narongsak, the Thai Navy Seals, the Admiral in charge, the Seals support team, the Euro Divers and the Spacex team. And much more...

    They didn't leave out the part where the british divers gave up. That was mentioned. It also wasnt the Australian's doctors idea to take the divers out unconscious. The Australian doctor was brought on because he was the only person who could make the idea actionable. He didn't want to do it as he thought the success rate would be very low to 0% and only agreed to go with it when a) it was apparent there was no better plan and b) he and his partner were given diplomatic Immunity. At least I didn't hear the british divers wasting time so late on by seeking the same even though they could be considered just as responsible if not more so for the boys' deaths if the worst had happened.

  • @movietimecapsule

    @movietimecapsule

    3 ай бұрын

    @@han-oq6bo According to Dr. Harris, the British divers Rick Stanton and John Volanthen also considered leaving after the children were found (second time) The original plan from the British to extract the kids was to use 2 divers per child. The Australian doctors convinced the Brits to use 1 diver per child instead, which turned out to be the more efficient way. Actually, they barely had enough divers for the one-on-one plan. The sedation plan is presumably from Stanton, but it is under dispute as several divers came up with the same plan before and around the same time as Stanton did. In addition - installing a safe, thick guideline and bringing in the Euro divers, using the pink mask, which saved the last kid's life, was all done against the will of Rick Stanton and John Volanthen’s will.

  • @vincegoshi

    @vincegoshi

    Ай бұрын

    @@movietimecapsule Your facts are plain wrong. Rick Stanton was the one who came up with the sedation plain, this is indisputable, documented in text messages he sent to Dr. Harris while Harry was still in Australia. Both Harry and the Thai doctors were against sedation as they thought it was very dangerous. (which divers are you mentioning that came up with the sedation idea?) Also, Rick and John were always of the mind it should be one diver-one boy. Harry's book describes what you reference when he thought he had to convince Rick it should be one diver per child. But, in fact, Rick was just using Harry's argument to convince the Americans, who were present, it should be one diver, one boy. Rick did this as he had previously told Derek Anderson it should be one diver, one boy, but Derek's response was the Thais would not approve that. After hearing Dr. Harris's argument, which Rick agreed with completely, one diver one boy became the leading approach. Finally, when the Thai Seal asked Rick and John to use the thicker guideline, it was Rick who told John they should agree to do that. This is also documented in the video "Against The Elements" where Captain Anand said he was so happy the Brits agreed to lay the thick line.

  • @raimundhuber

    @raimundhuber

    Ай бұрын

    @@vincegoshi it is not an "indisputable" fact. One person came up with a sedation plan on June 29, while two others came up with it on July 4 and posted it on social media. In his book, Stanton claimed that he also came up with the sedation plan on July 4 and included text messages with Dr. Harris as evidence. However, he removed the timestamps from these specific messages. It is entirely possible that they all independently arrived at the same plan, as this is common practice in cave rescues. But why hide the timestamps? So, what you're saying is that around midnight, just ten hours before the pool and ROC rehearsal, Stanton explained a different plan to everyone, including the Australian doctors? How did Stanton know the doctors would object to his two-divers-per-child plan and insist on a one-diver-one-boy strategy? The doctors also noted that the British team was skeptical about their approach. And why didn't the doctors then explain that it was Stanton's idea all along? The problem is that we only have Stanton’s account, which was provided a year and a half after the Australian doctors’ account. Considering that Stanton insulted, downplayed, and made numerous false accusations against other rescuers who were crucial to the successful outcome of the rescue, his account is unreliable. Stanton must have realized at some point during or shortly after the rescue that he did not have enough divers for his original plan. They barely had enough divers even for the doctors' one-on-one strategy. Given that he and Volanthen were initially against using the Euro Team and even dismissed divers who were essential during the line-laying phase, it is evident that Stanton greatly underestimated the complexity of the extraction. According to Dr. Harris, by the last day, they were so exhausted that an additional day would have been out of the question. Finally, it was Ben Reymenants who suggested using a thicker line. When he borrowed one from the British team to show it to the Thai Navy SEALs, John Volanthen became angry, snatched the line from Bruce Konefe’s hands, and started a verbal argument. After Ben and Ruengrit brought the British team back into the rescue effort-since they had given up-John immediately refused to listen to the Thai SEALs again. It was Rick who insisted that John listen to the Thai Navy SEALs, which he eventually did. Rick and everyone else later admitted that the thicker line was a much better and safer choice. You cannot rely solely on Stanton's account; you must consider all perspectives to form a fair opinion.

    Hi Archie! WoW FantAstic Job on this Incredible Story! I'm a Huge Fan of your work! This Story is truly a Miracle! I've thought about it So Much! You know, it is like The Gospel of Jesus Christ! Each one of us was born a sinner. It is our nature. Sin is an archery term which means to miss the exact bullseye. We have all missed the Bullseye of God's Perfect Righteousness. God says the wages of sin is death. Eternal separation from The Holy God in a place called Hell. God is Perfect JUSTICE! He is also Perfect LOVE! We are as helpless as those boys were to do Anything to save ourselves! Like one of the Australian rescue divers said, "It became clear they were going to have to have everything done For them." And THAT IS EXACTLY what God did For us! EVERTHING! John 3:16 is the Heartbeat of The Bible! God the Son, laid down His Eternal Glory, took on human flesh, lived the sinless Perfect Life you nor I ever could, and walked steadfastly to the Cross to shed HIS Perfect BLOOD for ALL our sins! Jesus's last words on the Cross were IT IS FINISHED! All God has to do to save us was to satisfy His Perfect JUSTICE! So He Punished Himself! The Innocent for the guilty! Archie, your sin debt has been Paid in FULL and you are Free to go! You can do nothing to deserve or earn or keep your Salvation! It is God's FREE Gift to be Freely received! Jesus Christ did ALL the Work! Like each boy in the cave, each one of us need only say YES! They each had to agree to rely Completely on the Rescue diver to get them out! It had to be their decision. There was only ONE WAY out of their helpless situation! There is only ONE WAY to be reconciled to God! His Name is JESUS! And He LOVES you Fiercely and Passionately! Believe on Jesus Christ today! Pray to Him! Admit you are a sinner in need of The Savior and place your Faith in what Jesus already did! His Blood washes you White as Snow! The nanosecond you Believe in Jesus's Finished Work on the Cross for All your sins, He Seals you with The Holy Spirit Forever! Jesus Christ will never ever ever let you go! And you WILL be with Him in Heaven! m.kzread.info/dash/bejne/iYqExtecoq2xYdY.html 💗💗💗
