I'm delighted with this Review! I'm a non-rollerblader Dad who wanted to buy my first ever pair so I can support my daughter in her new hobby, and bought these exact boots from SkatePro. It was only AFTER paying for them that I decided to look up reviews, so now I'm happy with my choice. Next step for me, once they arrive - learn how to rollerblade!

I think this video was such good advertising that it literally jump the price to $175. I bought them. Good skates. I have high arches so I was good. Hope there will be 2023 update of cheap Skates. I want to have a community here in my town of inline skaters

I had a similar experience with the bearings in my razor cults. They definitely got better after the second skate with them. I eventually set it up as a flat with some new wheels and bearings and they fly now.

I think “Dad Skate” for the occasional blade with the kids would be another selling point. Also, your lack of wheel bite might be from that boot grove angle and the general wide width of the soul.

I'm watching this because my oxygen ar pros from back in the day have just died while taking the kids out. Now I need to have some skates for occasional use. My wife suggested I find some recreational skates on marketplace 😢. No way man !

Hey there! First of all, thank you for making these nice and honest reviews 🤙🏻. To answer some questions and give some insight. Anarchy is a brand owned by Statesideskates in the UK. Stateside is ran by skaters and their designers are skaters too. How do I know? I work for the company and I am a aggressive blader too, since 1997. We never really invested a lot into marketing, and our primary goal is instead to make very affordable skates that do not cost a marketing premium. The skate does indeed have good reviews and listening to your video only gives us more motivation to keep doing what we do 🙏🏻. I am personally involved in our product development, and your feedback, along with everyone else is duly noted. We already have some ideas on how to upgrade the skate, but it has to be done without making it more expensive. Again, the price point will hopefully allow more people to get into blading, so it all has to make sende in that regard (while still having a good expierence with the skate). An experienced artist can paint with any brush lol. This is really cool, I was really surprised at the flex. Could tell you didn't have to force them over to get your royales, I was expecting them to be like the RBs we had that didn't flex at all. Really cool that you could skate them essentially stock. Great sum up, you didn't leave me with any questions. 👍👍👍👍👍

Really interesting, I’ve not seen anyone review cheaper skates. Just shows it’s about your skills and not the equipment 👍🏻👍🏻

We know its possible to utilize what we need to go skating, even if the corporate people who own this Anarchy brand aint about the sport and just a business, whatever, if these can get anyone to have a foot in our industry and have a new passion for blading, then i support it because eventually it will end up in support to our industry entrepreneurs in the end, i started out in second hand lighting trs and before that some veraflex from target back in the day...still knocking out these videos dude 😎👍....btw who won the 2 skate contest?

God damn I remember Anarchy skates back in the day getting ripped on by the cool kids. I remember my mate having a pair and he never lived it down, but funnily enough he could skate better then me with my Remz and my other mate with his Deshis... Just shows skates don't really make that big of a difference, it's whose skating them! Great video 🙌

The wheels/bearings getting faster is probably grease in the bearings breaking in. Also could be the frame/rocker spacers touching/rubbing on the bearing shields, which is common with cheap products like this as they use softer plastics that deform when you tighten the axles. After a while the bearing shields will bend in and the wheels will spin more freely.

I’m and OG lighting TRS kind of skater but these are a great update to what I’ve skated in the last

Cheap skates use thicker grease compared to higher end skates that use less viscous oils. The cheaper bearings also can't be cleaned and re-lubricated the same way that nicer bearings can. The mis-alignment is typical of older models like Salomon, K2, and the original Razors backslide plates. It makes royales feel amazing but torques feel terrible. For a beginner these look awesome! I was always concerned about the quality of the plastics being garbage, but you seemed to skate them just fine. Thanks for the content!

Thank you for this video. My kid just turned 5 and wants to start skating so I'm trying to find me a cheap set of skates so we can go to the park together. Last pair I had were the K2 Fatty's and Roller lade Troopers back in the late 90s 😂

I think that is definitely feel ok doing handrails with them.

Another great cheap upgrade is waxed laces to improve fit if the skates are just a tad too big.

Yeah the speed difference is likely the bearings breaking in, similar stuff happens when using cheap bearings on skateboards

I miss my k2 fatty pros back in early 2000’s wish I could still find them.

I haven’t skated in 25 years. I bought my son some transformers for Christmas, so I had to get some skates to teach him. These were the skates I bought last night. 25 years ago I skated with the K2 fatty pros.

Reaaaaaally good video... I liked it, especially because as someone that just got back to it I felt like buying for the very first time. I didn't know what was good or not and getting someone as good as you are and total unbias talking about a cheap one like this. Mas...congrats on your content!!! Those do looks good maybe a bearing swap and wheel change could help with speed and comfort

These look like a great option for kids who are going to grow out of skates quickly too!

I'm thinking of buying these as I can't skateboard atm could I take the two middle wheels out and just ride without them instead of the anti rockers what difference would this make? New to all this✌🏼

You are the guy that taught me that any trick can be done on any skate 😎 You were wearing my old black/purple TRS lightnings and you did alley-oop topporn on coping. “Better” skates just increase the statistical probability of you landing the trick. How did they slide?

Bro are u from San Antonio? I'm from uvalde I didn't know anyone else skated around here lol not a popular thing I haven't seen it much besides at rollercade in SA

I got the panik version of these for my son, and while they where a great skate to get the feel of the aggressive boot style, I believe under punishment they would have buckled, pure because they are multisize adjustable boots (size 3-5). I've just swapped them for the razor gens (same adjustment style) and they are a million time stiffer and feel a lot better built. Myself, getting back in after being out for 20 years, I went for the cults first, but more so because I knew what I was doing, just needed to refresh my muscle memory 🤣

Looking at ordering some after not akating for a good 15 years, is it still a thing to buy a size bigger than your shoe size?

So I have a question can I skate these inside a roller rink or change the wheels to be able to ride them in a rink

Dude you are super good no need to be modest, you could probably rock some $40 Target skates and still make em work. That said I agree for the price point and assuming your budget is super tight and cannot stretch these will work just fine.

😅 so I just recently quit skateboarding after doing it for 10 years I just now recently got me a pair of used aggressive inline skates but I have no idea how to jump into the comfortability of riding them , stopping and getting back into the stride , is there any tips or advice maybe if anybody's in New York City I can get a in person tutorial

I'm currently coming back to roller skating after 12 years (Give or Take) The issue is that I'm based in Brazil, these skates are the only option under the Import Taxing Limits, after that price point I have to pay the price + 60% on the total purchase, adding freight, insurance... (thanks BR for supporting sport). I was used to Roll some Razors Genesys (LE red, they were soooo beautiful), do you think they are a good option for me to ride the first year untill I get back to the US and get some better ones?

They’re not great, and you’ll miss your razors for sure, but _they are better than nothing_ They work, but they definitely are not my first choice.

Are better those or Roce m12?

Do you have any suggestions for helmets for 28 inch (71cm) circumference heads? I have super thick locs & I'm having a hard time finding a helmet in this size.

Thanks for the review. Had to sell all of my stuff to fight my ex in court to keep the kids after she walked out (pretending she was kicked out). I won full custody, but have absolutely no fun anymore. I have sudden death syndrome (Brugada) and an ICD implant and really need to exercise and enjoy myself. Had a stroke in July and my face doesn't work right anymore. It's some BS. These inexpensive skates keep popping up in searches and I was curious to how they groove. Thanks so much for the review. (I love giving tmi in comments. Free therapy rules. Haha. Stay up homie!)

If you’re not looking to grind, something in the Powerslide lineup of “bigger wheel” skates may make sense. Depending on your experience, I’d stay closer to 80mm wheels.

To answer your question, I would not recommend these based on your question. These are more meant for someone looking specifically for aggressive skates on a tight budged, imo.

You should try the frame on some other boots and see how it performs. You might have discovered the best kept secret in rollerblading!

Funny you should ask. My black cults were 10/11 shell with stock liners. And my white cults are 8/9 with my fit liners. They are snug. But I like them better.

This same or very similar skate is available here in eastern Europe under the name "Worker Aggressive"

Tried them last year (a friend owns these Skates) and they feel extremly heavy compared to my Aeons. But i think to get into this Sport they perform fairly well and are really good in pricing. Except they are a bit ugly 😂

Many people skate “anti-rocker”. It makes grinding easier at the cost of some maneuverability and ride quality. Some of the best skaters in the world skate antirocker.

Support rollerblading companies not skateboarding cash grabs. I only Support blading nothing skateboarding related i.e. vans and airwalk. These are made by airwalk.

Blade companies don't have anything at this price point, and they don't have the wide distribution these skates have (being sold in big sports stores). Personally I'd much rather have new kids be able to pick these up cheap and actually start skating, and have fun, and then graduate to skates and other stuff from real blade companies... rather than have kids not be able to afford a "real" skate and never start skating at all. This skate was at one time sold under the Airwalk name, yes. Meaning Airwalk licensed the skate from the manufacturer. Or, possibly, the manufacturer licensed the Airwalk name. Either way, buying an Anarchy-branded pair isn't going to send any profit to Airwalk.
