Great advice! 👍 Certainly about not letting skateboarders see us waxing the coping. 😄

Honestly of the BEST tutorial styles I’ve seen on YT with aggressive tricks/blading! The whole it’s reps and unfortunately falls and shit are a part of the game is toooooo true It’s still SKATING at the end of the day and it weeds out the weak 😂 it’s not for everybody So no matter if you’re working on grinding spinning toe rolls transition skating etc etc best thing you can do is put those man hours in!! Let’s see some more vids like this from you!

Was working on topsides on coping earlier today. Great video man! Needed those reminders. My dumbass skipped stalling and thought just going for frontside sweat stances was a good idea and learned the hard way a few times. 😅

I've said this before about your tutorials and I'll say it again. For someone who is really good at skating you do a great job of breaking skills down for beginners. I love that you wear protective gear even though you are clearly good enough to choose not to. Keep up the great content!

Props for helmet advice. Great tutorial. I was never good at grinding coping when I skated. More of a fun box guy myself. But like you said with repetition things become more comfortable. 🔥🔥

I thought this was a great tutorial! But as a fairly new agg inliner (a year and a bit) I wanted to highlight something that was slightly different for me. I completely agree with you that you should learn most grinds on a ledge or a rail first before trying on coping. The big exception for me is H block tricks. I learned frontsides and backsides on coping first, in fact they were the first grinds I learned on anything. And I can only do front and back unities on coping, trying to work up to them on rails and ledges. But that’s just my experience and I started out skating a lot of mini ramps with quad skaters so that might have informed it a bit!

it took me forever to learn soul stalls. then i learned i had to have my left foot forward and step first on the frontside foot b4 i lock my right soul on. i also learned this on a mini hp. cuz any thing taller caused me to bail. then all the soul grinds i did on street started translating making it easier. easing into the coping as if it were a rail. this might be some additional advice for someone who is still trying to learn soul on coping

I would love a tutorial how to pump on a mini or quater pipe so you can attempt the grinds. Or more like how to move left and rigth, inside of the ramp. If I rotate on the same spot I am fine but as soon as I try to go from one side to the other and attempt a grind things go wrong I lose my speed, I fail a grind then I can not go to the other end and I am stuck in the middle.

the only park in my city in the UK (big city too) recently banned rollerbladers and quad-riders (quaders?) due to the skateboarders 'not being happy' with having a slippy foot, or some such wood-pusher nonsense. Is this a thing in the states? Skateboarders forcing rollerbladers out because they're the majority? And yet this park still allows scooters, ffs. I just don't get it - just ban wax if it get's that bad surely? Instead they've just alienated a re-emerging sport in a really off-putting and condescending way. Had a super passive aggressive convo with the owner - he was just like 'ah nahh, we're happy doing what we're doing' blah blah, was infuriating. Only other decent skate park is 20 some miles away (yes yes, I know that's nothing to you american folk but I don't own a car etc). So yeah when I'm a MILLIONAIRE I'm going to build rollerblade and quad only skateparks, and f it, even put some stuff in them especially for skateboarders to not be able to use - each of these dream parks will be housed in a completely glass-encased air-conned luxury room, just to really hammer it home to these plank-w*nkers that we still exist.

I went to Kona skatepark a while back and they had very large signs on the mini ramp “NO WAX”. Apparently it was heavily enforced. Funny thing is that that park is a sad ghost town now. :/. I feel for you
