First you get used to 1 spring then you train for 2
The world strongest man Tom Stoltman tried a 300 lb gripper and failed. 1200 lbs is not humanly possible.
Train hard before it arrives 🔥
Guessing they're 200lbs/inch springs or something, but it's also a lever where the lower springs exert more force because they expand further that the ones near the hinge.
@That70sChannel
5 ай бұрын
Yeah I was just noticing that. Whoever engineered this doesn't understand engineering because that's not 1200 lb even if it is 6x200 lb springs. You can easily see that by putting on only one spring in each of the six positions and feel the difference in each position
@JohnSmith-uq4og
4 ай бұрын
@That70sChannel or maybe it's perfectly designed like that on purpose... To make it easier to train... instead of making a jump from 200lb with 1 spring to 400lb with 2 springs... U can slide them to be 250, then 300, 350, then 400lb... Jeez... idk why u geniuses who probably can't even grip half of 1 spring or come up with a better design, have to make everything so much harder and try to discredit ppl who are clearly better than u... 😂😂😂
@aceluckgame
3 ай бұрын
@@JohnSmith-uq4ogthe design is clearly shifty. Even if the max is 1200 lbs, there is no accurate way of finding how much force is needed just by looking at the spring positions.
Someone get one of these to the blacksmith dude, he can do it
I was at a trade show in Tennessee a few months back and one of the suppliers eho had set up a booth had a couple of grip trainers and had set up a little competition. If you could one hand the 150 pounder you got a free licensed cooler, so i figured I'd give it a shot (For context I'm an electrician so my grip strength is fairly high). He handed me the 40, no sweat light work. Same deal with the 60, then he pulled out a 100 pounder and i can honestly say that i felt muscles in my hand move that i didnt even know were there lol. I did not walk out of there with a cooler, but i did get a couple free shirts.
@generalcornelius1880

Lmao nice man. Everyone thinks trades gives you incredible world class grip. They don't. Above average for sure though. Not to mention. Unless your pulling wire through pipe everyday. Being an electrician doesn't do much for your grip.
Each spring you add is gonna resist much less than the ones on the far end due to leverage

Hulk grip 😂😂😂
The guy who is attempting the 1200 lb actually completed the 4 spring, which is 800 lbs since it is 1200 lbs with 6 springs
1 rep of that will give you 5 years of forearm muscle growth and the grip of a mountain climber , climbing everyday for 10 years straight
Finally one that I can use all the others I just squish
The real crazy thing about this gripper is that it's advertised as 50 kg to 1200 kg with up to 8 springs. It would average 150 kg or 3x the lowest for each spring slot. Some of the slots would add much more resistance than the others for it to work that way.
im no weight lifterbut i just like the calmness in the video especially when adjusting the volume to the middle on the volume bar
Wait till a southern father of 4 gets a hold of this
Time to show this to Jujumufu and Brian Shaw.
You see what people don't understand is your grip strength is actually based off your forearm strength as the muscles in your forearm are what close your hand so if you made your forearm super strong maybe
@x1tuv
Ай бұрын
training grip trains forearms tho, lil less vice versa because forearm curls are less grip strength and more for size
Surprisingly, people actually use it. A buddy who does free climbing uses that for training. At first I thought it was a badly designed aluminum cutter, but then he showed me how to use it. He's such a slim guy with a lean build, but he reps that like it's nothing.

I mean,a single spring is enough to train with,since it'll be 90Lbs and that is extremly hard in it's own to grip with one hand,just start with 2,keep training with them until you get stronger and do the progressive overload with one +1spring each time,you'll get a broken arm grip FR
There is always someone who is able to do it.
If you to punch or want big lower arms like BATMAN then this equipment is perfect for you. 🖤🖤🖤🖤
