The beauty of this farm is speed, I am currently 2000+ maps deep and I just alch and go, only kill super harbs and bosses and move onto the next map, my Atlas has all the map nodes for more maps to max out T17 Map drops as well. I have farmed around 190 Fracturing Orbs, No clue how many Annuls anymore and I personally use all my Ancient Orbs. No Mirror pop yet either.

Love the content. I hope you make Poe content next season. As for Harbingers, you are correct in it being “madness”. I ve ran thousands of Harbi’s. I had 3 big fracturing shard pops in one session along with one where i got 2 shards. Then i went around 200 maps without one. But, running Dunes i got a lot of fortunate cards, 20% additional corpses, scarabs, allflames and other things. Annuls sell easily. I had a lot exalted orbs for crafting so its not that bad. Also im running a fast ele hit build so you can kind of run around the map killing all the harbi packs at once. I tried white maps, magic maps and alc and go. Alc and go is probably the way to go so you get a lot of map drops along with other drops

Thanks! It can definitely be pretty frustrating when you get into a drought, but then the game decides it's time to slap you in the face with tons of currency all at once, and that's pretty good!

Howdy, thanks for spotlighting this strat. Just wanna start by mentioning, the dangle of the mirror explosion is alluring however, ive been doing nothing but this for weeks. 2400ish maps based on my scarab counts. 4-5 div/hour is what I average. No mirror yet, but gamblers fallacy demands I keep going. Give this content MAYBE 100 maps, if you dont like how it feels even in the slightest, farm something else. Given how essence/beast farms and t17 farms are, if I had just stuck with those with my time, probably would have farmed up a mirror or two in trade currency. Im now a slave to the gamble strat and hope I can quit it soon.

That is how gamble strats tend to go! Get lucky early or wind up in prison!

I think it is important to note that the scarab of warhoards is worth it due to effectivly halving your time killing harbs as you only need to kill 3 harbs instead of 6 for the same amount of loot, they do take a long time to kill so it can't be ignored plus as you mentioned you have a chance for big money if you hit mirror or fracture shards

I used to farm harby with : x2 extra harby scarabs , 1 extra bosses , 1 duplicated shards ... Had like 12 fractured shards , over 760 anulment orba , 70+ exalted orbs in like 200-250 maps . Went with your strategy 1 scarab per time and is not werry good drops but is the best mirror chances , I may think mixing it up with droping all scarabs and one extra harby for introduceing harvest with 100% more life force scarab ( it sounds good in my mind )

Harbinger Scarab of Discernment makes the big valuable drops a lot more valuable, instead of just getting one good shard here and there. It's a bit more convenient, even if it's not necessarily more profitable per map.

I have been running this strat for the last 500 or so maps and in that sample size, I have dropped a full mirror and 6 shards as well as around 30 fracturing orbs. The problem with the strat is that it's not like other strats that give consistent money (it does with some caveats). It is a strat that you need to run UNTIL you hit big else there is no point in running it at all. I am going to go until I hit another mirror shard pop before doing something else.

bruh you usually don't just hit a mirror or two running harby every season... Unless you're putting out like 10k maps..

That is true. People are definitely finding more mirrors now than in most previous leagues.

Ive ran prolly 300 harby farm maps. Have gotten approx 4 fracturing orbs on 1 harby drop. Dropping it as soon as I level for strongboxes

I stumbled on this strat myself a week ago, i just wanted to see how profitable I can make harbinger. Made @90 div in 160maps . I run all harbie nodes , all beyond nodes but I don't block bosses, and I have 94% chance for delirium mirror. My build sucks and all I can do decent are t9 maps so I did 160 tropical island map. Yesterday I bought a mageblood for my leaguestarter character, mageblood that I can't even wear until I get the mine throwing speed the current belt has. In those 160 maps I made 320 annulments , 340 ancients , 23 fracturing orbs 20 tainted fusing and 12 simulacrum , it all adds up really fast.

Tried doing harbinger with the domination / shrine leveling strat, and you REALLY feel the slow spawn of harbingers compared to, say, breach or ambush. It's unfortunate cause I really do like getting raw currency :\

Try running those with beyond. Ive pulled 20 fracturing orbs and 200 anullments and a bunch of ancients from.abour 160 t16 deli orbed maps

if ur hunting shards and shards alone, scoured glacier is the fastest way from my testing :D can speed run from harby to harby and u will get more fracturing shards than if u waste time on doing alched maps

Loses out on a lot value from the rest of the content, but if you just want to optimize for Harbingers, yeah, that's okay. You're still going to be limited by their spawn rate.

I'm pretty sure Harbingers also don't scale with map tier which allows someone who maybe is struggling to do T16's, to do these in a much lower tier. Now someone can correct me if I'm wrong, but I've got fractured shards in Tier 2 maps before as well as all the other types of other shards I got from Tier 2 which were the same as T16s. Just wanted to throw that out there. At least this is how it was last league.

The problem with Harbinger farm is that they are a pure gamble farm, if you don't pair them with something that will give you a fair return no matter what you'll be wasting a lot of time fishing for something that you might not get And yes they don't care about the tier your are killing them BUT this don not make your gambling quicker they spawn REALLY slow even if your build deletes t1's Harbingers will take the same time if you were killing them on a T16

@@rubenandrade9602 my favorite strat is farming corpses. I'm making so many divine selling them all in bulk as I'm getting them. Blight is also good because the good chance of opening blight chests again and again and again is amazing. I had one group of oil chests that I opened numerous times and ended up with 2 golden oils and 6 silver in just one map. It's not common, but I almost always get 1 or 2 silver per map.

That's right. You still want to do them on T16's so that you can get some consistent value out of Eldritch Altars and T17 maps drops.

I was doing harby and after 50ish maps I got fed up as I was getting nothing and harbinger is annoying to kill. I got one random harbinger mod on lantern and got 4 fracturing shards🤷‍♂

I decided to give it a go and if someone would like to know how unlucky you can get then check this out. My first fracturing shards on 315 map. But then it went like a breez. Currently I'm at 500, going for 1k now! Below are maps when I get my fracturing shards explosions: 315 352 367 427 435 462

IIRC last league before this one, Aero had a harbinger strat and he was getting shards every hundred maps or so. You actually got lucky, not unlucky.

that guy last league you spoke of got incredibly unlucky or his character was bugged. I got like 2o to 25 of them out of 115 maps....

Also, in past leagues you didn't have the Harbinger Scarab of Regency converting 50% of regular Harbingers into Bosses or Discernment converting all drops to a specific type. Across the board, Harbingers are more rewarding now than in the past, so the luck this set was pretty bad.

@@PathofEvening Also, I'm wondering if maybe they nerfed shards this league? Because do you remember in previous leagues you would get a shard every few maps or so from the bosses? And the fact that the bosses are more due to the scarabs and you get much less just sounds like a silent nerf to me.

You had 25% of Harbingers converted into bosses via the passive tree in previous leagues, and that was it. You're now able to push that number up to 75% thanks to Scarabs.

Its kind of gambling between 80% of trash and 20% of good And yea Most of the time you found are trash

Harbingers scale very well with IIQ/IIR, many guys also made some MF to farm memorys harb since it's easy to fish for mirror shards with the base qnt from last 2 memorys + good mf on char, without needing a high dam or a high survival It's the second video i watch from you and the second i saw base info about the content with miss info, u need to be more carefull with what u talk on your videos

MF builds farm memories because ONE memory has a line that says "currency found on map converts into shards" and theres two different memories one is worth nothing the conversion one is the good one and of course very expensive, i'm pretty sure the item rarity of your gear works with Harbingers but not really sure, last league i got a lot of fracturing shards using the purple wisp and golden flask but maybe it was just the sextant doing their shit

Correct. Harbingers in maps don't interact with IIQ.

Harbs are the most useless content you can possibly make. You have more chance to get a mirror from any other mechanic rather than this trash. I myself did it and I won’t do this content anymore, I got 2 mirror shards, around 1000 orbs of annulments and around 10 fracturing orbs. Been doing that for 2 weeks, any other strategy will be more profitable.
