120 hours of light from WATER?
Ойын-сауық
Let's take a look at a flashlight that runs on water. They claim it can operate for 120 hours!
My expectations for this product were extremely low. So I was surprised and impressed when it turned on and actually put out a lot of light.
There's a power switch to turn the light on and off, but they recommend you empty the water between uses, because the chemical reaction will continue inside the pack, even if the switch is turned off.
Technically the salt water is acting as an electrolyte and it's the magnesium sheet inside the pack that's being consumed. So you can't just keep dumping water into the pouch and expect it to last forever.
It's a fun and interesting gadget. And it might be worth having one in your emergency pack. But it's not going to replace traditional flashlights or 18650 flashlights any time soon

Love a return to the tech reviews! You are one of my all-time favorites. Please go live again soon! Thank you for this content!
Gotta buy a few of those for emergencies. Summer won't last for long. Gotta get ready for the rainy season again as early as we can. Great sharing brother!
Is there a chance that you can change that thing inside if deteriorated already? I think it's called electrode note sure. I experiment this one using aluminum and copper but i'm producing only less than 1v
Good morning GA! Keep safe!

Good gadget review! That can work on extreme situations with no batt or electricity...
I have to ask, is that water from Fukushima? Like a sodium cooled reactor. Where are the control rods? Will it explode like an e-cigarette or just melt in your hand like an m&m? Thanks for interesting report.

Good morning Blippi.😆
That's smart.
Hi GA, I was looking at lazada similar to that. It was a saltlamp that looked like a camping light. I researched about it in youtube and someone commented you can use urine as a last resort (maybe in desperate situations) if saltwater is not available.

I haven't tried, but I assume it would. I just don't know if you might still have to add more salt.
They do exist I have a portable lamp. Aluminum/ magnesium foil. Add salt water.
What kind of Sorcery is that!!!
It's a fake item, hidden battery is inside

Thats what im thinking
I love toys and gadgets and there could be a practical use for this....but in the end, it will probably end up as trash along a stream or mountain.

I've already put 90+ hours on it :) Testing to see if it can live up to the specs listed on the back. I think this is a GREAT tool to have in your emergency bag :)

It doesn't. I ripped it apart a couple of months ago. This is a pretty proven technology anyway.. going back to Egyptian times - well, not the LED but the method of generating electricity.
