When we wake up every morning, our attitude should be : What can I do to help today. If we have this attitude, man, our life will be taken care of and be guided by the all Universe, peace and contentment will never leave us. Be a beacon for others, may all sentient beings be safe and happy. 💜😊

0:55 also break the goal down into small parts! So don't just say i want to loose 20 lbs, but define exactly what you will do everyday to achieve that! Example: I will walk 2 miles everyday (or 5 days per week) the more specific you get the more likely you are to achieve your goal, too! So saying i will walk 2 miles every morning after my shower or every evening when i get home from work. But it has to be realistic if you aren't going to have energy to walk after work then you have to reevaluate how you will achieve your goal and if that goal is even possible without adjusting your work schedule. SERIOUSLY unrealistic goals are the reason why most of us give up!

Yes we know that we can’t choose the fact that he click baited and we can choose to not let it affect us. But you’ve got to give a shit about something. That’s what humans do isn’t it The fact that Ryan as a guy who writes about stoicism click baited is quite disappointing.

I hear you. But I wanted to mention I had a really good experience with my therapist on betterhelp. She was very much equipped to help me. One of the best therapists I ever had. Also, some people would benefit from therapy who otherwise might not be able to go to therapy. Homebound, disabled, etc, . There are other online formats besides betterhelp as well. Talkspace for one. I have no experience with that one so I cannot say if it is "bad" or " good." Just wanted to comment to encourage others to go to therapy whatever way they can. Peace.

I like most of these vids, but this one I just can't... the constant cuts between "pauses" really throws me off and the speakers do not appear "human".. I get that you are trying to squeeze as much as possible in lowest time possible, but as I figured, stoicism says to take you time doing things, be present etc.
