Sunny, thank you as always:) My biggest takeaway is the combination of drop being a perfectionist (yep, that's me) plus show up messy in the sense of test and try out before you think you've reached perfection. I know I should just get on with it, but in-depth research is where I hold myself for fear of messing up. All the best, Angela

Totally can relate to what you said about the drinking!! Omg! I hardly drink anything at all anymore for that very reason…to your point as I’ve gotten older my body responds so much differently to it anyway and I ain’t got time for being hung over and feeling like complete crap for the following 1-2 days!!! So KUDOS to you for mentioning this, no one ever does👏🏾👏🏾

Yeah I’m in the same boat! I love watching KZread as an educational source but lately I have to ask myself if watching something is actually moving me forward in some way, or just postponing me from doing what I’m trying to set out to do? I’ve actually stopped watching a lot of people that I enjoyed but ultimately weren’t serving this goal… they were also making me feel bad about my current stage compares to there’s, so in tune with this list for sure!

I have been wasting so much time and consuming things that are not anything to do with what I want to post about. And thinking that I need things to be perfect, which leads to me wasting more time. If I think about it, there is quite a few things that I do that is on your list, lol. My biggest take away from this video is that I don't need to be afraid to cut certain things and negative people out of my life in order to get be in a better place to work on where I want to be and the goals that I can achieve.

I've been training myself not to by putting videos up that I think have got big mistakes in them. Guess what? Noone notices, so if I had spend more time re-making them for "my ideal of perfection", it would have been wasted time.

I'm so glad I caught this video. I get offers sometimes for projects. Someone just DMed me on LinkedIn asking for help with training at their facility. I was considering writing back and saying I can take projects if it's less than 2 weeks and pays a premium price.... but it's not aligned with my legacy! I want to create a low-maintenance business, and this sounds like it would be a big distraction from the path I'm already on. It's going to have to be a "no."

Thank you Sunny!!!! Right now I'm stuck in a shiny object moment. I agreed to a pretty big project (i had goals, timeline etc) The project was amazing, I'm so proud of it. THEY HATED IT!!! AND now they want me to re-do it. AND there is a new person in charge of the department AND now it's gone on LONGER than it was supposed to AND now it's eating into my time for other stuff!!! efffffff and there you are in my head "shiny object syndrome!! =) Thank you for calling me out on that perfection moment!!! I love you Sunny and THANK YOU so much for your realism about this! Oh that normalcy thing.... I have just stopped trying to explain what I do to people who just don't understand.

@@SunnyLenarduzzi I love your "people's opinion” metric…Specifically “are they living the kind of life that I want.” You shared how success is a spectrum and that entrepreneurs have to clearly define where they fall on the scale…for example, being wealthy but dangerously busy & miserable is not the dream for a lot of us. No shade…but those folks would not be the first pick as mentors. *** Also, thinking of my goal as two dots on the page & using “legacy thinking” to build the fastest bridge between the dots. *** Perfection’s anti-venom: take permission to "actively show up messy” *** MY FAVORITE TIP: no matter how big you grow…you don’t feel like you know what you’re doing…there’s no certainty…make peace with it… PS - I’m really thinking about that meal-prep idea…
