Firstly, Toe rings are one among the ornaments wore by indian married women but cannot be said as wedding ring. We have some jewellery that only wore by married women. Secondly, there are different states with different rituals /traditions in India so not every indian practices the same all over india.

Girija, Aritro from Kolkata here.... several people both from old & present generations know dis, by reading Da verified names & Studies of Vedic age academics, herbal Med. Doctors, Scholars, like....'Charak', 'Susrut', 'Aryavatta', 'Sridhar Acharya' & many more documented/recorded in both Sacred & Academic Texts, like...."Susrut Samhita", "Charak Samhita", "Atharva Veda", "Arya-sidhhanta", "Surya-Siddhanta" etc. BUT, IN TODAY'S TIME, whenever u mention them, people FROM EVERYWHERE will laugh & Call them "Right-Wing" Kinda 'funny Political Claim', WITHOUT BASEST INFO on 1 of Historians' verified findings. So, In today's turbulent times, it's Far better dat we Indians forget our every Academic/Medicinal achievement.🙁🙁😐

We are taught that we should care about each and every living being that's why people feed monkeys, rats, cows or other animals. People don't share their food but feed them not only these animals, people also feed ants, fishes !! Although all facts are correct but the way they've been potrayed is wrong in some facts esp the rat one and the toe ring. Also everything has a scientific logic behind it. U'll be surprised when you'll read them & will be praising our vedas and purans. !!

It literally says they share, which they do cuz they literally researched about it in the video, "did you not watch that part?", also because I just read some comments below, where someone told that they visited the temple, and people actually share the food with the rats, mostly pujaris. And it's so unhealthy and unsafe, as Jaby said.

Whats your Good Name ? Real Translation is actually “Whats your SHUBH NAAM” Where Shubh means AUSPICIOUS, and Naam means NAME. Coz Indians has rituals for naming a baby and its a auspicious ceremony. So its just not name, its a auspicious name or good name.

Actually dance was not always a defining characteristic of Bollywood movies. During the 40s and 50s there was no such thing as dancing, nature was used to convey the feelings of a song or some funny way of walking( used by Raj Kapoor), only classical dances were used whenever there was a classical song( like in Kohinoor of Dilip Kumar). Dancing came into the film industry with rise of The "SHAMMI KAPOOR( brot'her of Raj Kapoor) in the 1960s.The first dance ever performed by an actor was twist form of dance which was done by Shammi Kapoor in the film 'DIL DEKE DEKHO'(1959). The most famous incident by which dancing came to be associated with songs was with the blockbuster film 'JUNGLEE(1960)' of Shammi Kapoor. In this film the title track portrayed Shammi Kapoor as jumping/sliding from the top of a 4 inch thick ice hill and then getting up to lip sync the song and also dance to show crazy happiness of being alive after going through a blizzard. This became the trend and in the 1960s to 70s Shammi Kapoor ruled the film industry alongside the top most actors of that time. Later through Rajesh Khanna and Dharmendra this trend passed down until it became a defining characteristic of the bollywood during the 1990s and 2000s and so continues.

In my colony in each house there must be 4-5 rats(not pet), they are mostly hidden in our house. And also under the ground there is more larger colony of rat than the human colony on the ground. But rats in the colony are actually mouse but inside temple the different species is there. Rats outside Bikaner may be harmful, but here they don't harm us.

Tower of Silence is a cremation or burial ground for Parsis. According to the customs, when a Parsi dies, the body is brought to the tower of silence and laid under the open sky to be fed upon by scavenger birds; mostly vultures. The uppermost row near the wall is for male bodies, middle one for females and the innermost is for children. The well in between, also known as “Bhandar” is where the bones go. They are left there for a few days to dry under the scorching sun before removal.
