12 Strange Signs Your Body NEEDS Magnesium

12 Strange Signs Your Body Needs More Magnesium.
Magnesium is a very important electrolyte mineral used in over 350 enzyme reactions in the human body. It's heavily involved with the nervous system and in the contraction/relaxation of muscle cells throughout the body.
Only 1% of the magnesium in the body is stored in the blood, so blood tests wont usually tell you if you are deficient in magnesium or not, which is why doctors often overlook this problem.
For this reason, today we identify 12 common yet strange signs of magnesium deficiency to watch out for including twitching muscles, waking up in the night, irritation and nervousness, heart fluttering, high blood pressure, muscle cramps amongst others.
I also explain why magnesium deficiency happens, and some natural ways to boost your magnesium intake, and activate it inside the body.

̶1̶2̶ 13 signs of magnesium deficiency: 1) Twitching muscles or tetany especially upper or lower eyelid 2) Waking up between 2 to 3 a.m. due to high levels of cortisol which is combatted by magnesium 3) Irritability due to hypoglycemia, this can be counteracted with magnesium along with potassium and sodium 4) Heart flutters - if don't have enough magnesium, calcium enters cells and causes hyperexcitability, take magnesium glycinate 5) High blood pressure/headaches/migraines 6) Constipation - supports relaxation of smooth muscle of colon and supports peristalsis, magnesium citrate draws water into colon 7) Bone pain - stimulates PTH to drive calcium into bone 8) Stiff joints - could be due to low magnesium or to vitamin C or copper deficiency which are both involved in building collagen 9) Anxiety - need magnesium as well as potassium and vitamin B1 10) Cravings for chocolate (chocolate contains magnesium but also contains oxalates which can bind to magnesium causing an endless loop of cravings) 11) Clawed hands or feet (carpopedal spasm) 12) Muscle cramps 13) Asthma - take magnesium glycinate as well as vit D3 and vit K2

buy a papaya ... peel it, cut it up into bite size chunks and eat the fruit .. then freeze the seeds .. there'll be 100+ in a single papaya ... once seeds are frozen, take about 15-20 and crush/mash them with the flat side of a cleaver ... put it all in a spoon, pop it in the mouth and quickly wash it down with water... do this once a week and you'll have all the correct magnesium needed for that week ... by correct I mean the magnesium that supports nerve function, mental acuity and muscle cramp blocking.

Here is a summary of the key points from the video: - Magnesium deficiency can cause various signs and symptoms like muscle twitches, restless sleep, irritability, heart palpitations, high blood pressure, constipation, bone and joint pain, anxiety, muscle cramps etc. - Testing magnesium levels through blood tests is not very reliable as only 1% is stored in blood. Symptoms are a better indicator. - Dietary sources of magnesium include greens, nuts, seeds, yogurt, salmon. Magnesium is found in chlorophyll of plants. - Reasons for deficiency include eating refined grains, sugars, whole grains high in phytates, too much stress, antacid medications, diuretics, lack of vitamin D, magnesium depleted soils. - To boost intake, eat more greens daily, take magnesium glycinate supplement, use electrolyte drinks while fasting, avoid depleting foods like junk/refined carbs. Vitamin D and whole food proteins also help. - Magnesium luonate may be better absorbed in brain for mental benefits. Oxide, sulfate, carbonate, hydroxide types are poorly absorbed forms to avoid.

It wasn’t long ago that all forms of magnesium were considered equal. Several years ago the Magnesium Taurate was considered the best but then came Glycinate, Bisglycinate and Threonate. I personally take a Tri-Magnesium supplement with Taurate, Glycinate and Threonate. It absorbs and works well for me and my family including 89 y/o mom. The citrate loosens my stool too much.

I could not applaud you more ,you ve touched everything. I came back to your video for my brother who is diabetic .We both have HEP B,I m pre-diabetic with neuropathy I know we both have insulin resistance. I STARTED ON MAGNESIUM AND POTASSIUM SINCE 2017 after a painful inflammation that affected my lower body .I'm better after changing my diet into low carb with more fasting and taking supplements, Vitamins D3/k2,mag,potassium helped tremendously. I'm in fact using 2 of the magnesium you suggested, but with my low B12 ,to meditate better I must alternate my glycinate with threonate, for better memory. Overall this is an excellent video ..I HOPE IT CAN PERSUADE MY BROTHER TO FIRMLY START FOLLOWING THE INFORMATION OF THE VIDEO .MANY THANKS.

Spinach and multiple other vegetables are ALSO very high in oxalates. I think its time to start saying eat LOW OXALATE greens of which there are MANY. The salad you described was low oxalate, as were the pumpkin seeds! Just wish you had reinforced that. This is coming from a victim of oxalate overload. Thank you for a very informative video!

No difference in bone pain though:( I've always ate tons of greens but guess it's not enough

When I first went on keto, and intermittent fasting I had several of these side effects, especially the leg cramps omg it was the most painful thing I’ve experienced…. I didn’t know at the time that I needed to supplement with magnesium and other electrolytes… now I take them every day and leg cramps, along with waking up at 3am is gone

Thank you Ryan, this is excellent! I've read numerous times that magnesium L-threonate might possibly cause headaches. Could you please share your thoughts on this & the reason why this may be true? I suffer with enough migraines as is, but always wanted to try magnesium L-threonate for cognitive function benefits 😊❤

Hi Allison, the brain sometimes has to adjust for the new higher levels of magnesium, and sometimes this causes a detox effect for a while. But it usually subsides. Start small with the dosage and slowly increase until the body gets used to it. 💚

It would be helpful if we knew more about fructose. It's got the same chemical formula as glucose but it could be a mistake to suggest it functions in the body in the same way as glucose and therefor to restrict eating fruit. .

Interesting information. There's a couple of things I recognize in this video, like heartbeating and skipping, cramps in the calves, joint pain and a few more. In fact, I have a whole list of officially diagnosed things, like heel spur (left foot), claudication in my right calm and DISH in my upper back and some skin problems that seem to be cortisol related. However, I am a vegetarian for almost 40 years (I do consume dairy, lots of cheese), I never smoked and a rarely take alcohol. Due to medicine my blood pressure is quite ok and my LDL has dropped to perfect, still my HDL is too low. I wanna take green leaves, like spinach, but resently it was discovered my ferotonin is too high (copper is ok). I'm clueless about what I could do. Especially this claudication is disabling me.

I can offer a suggestion, since your ferritin is too high, the best option is to just donate blood. This usually works quite well, and is also for a good cause - win win. You might want to take a look into proteolytic enzymes, nattokinase and serrapeptase, as these are good with claudication. Spinach I advise against, since it's high in oxalates, a better option would be arugula/rocket (UK). Extra virgin olive oil (single source origin) can help with this too, because of the Vitamin E content and phytonutrients. Since vegetarian diets are usually high in Omega 6, you could try an algae supplement to boost Omega 3-s which are anti-inflmatory. Bit more info in this video: kzread.info/dash/bejne/ZICblqeMeKrbXZs.html&t= I hope this info helps. 💚

While I agree in part, your daily dose does not need to come from plants, there are still toxins to be wary of in fish (mercury, lead, micro plastics & others) & meats ( antibiotics, chemicals in their feed & water). Always be cognizant of everything within the life cycles. Our world is not what we wish it were, nor what we're told it is. Blessings
