When you are concerned about or make excuses for someone's disturbing behavior, you could be dealing with a sociopath, narcissist, or both. If someone is very flattering and also very cruel; and you feel you are being used, abused, and played, you are dealing with some type of sociopathy and dysfunction. Trying to change a sociopath or a narcissist is a waste of time. You need to change, adapt, or move on. Depending on your situation, it could be best to leave and remain No Contact forever.

My ex fits everything that you have said. His mom was homeless and my ex did not care. We are now divorcing. I am 70, he has stolen all of my money. I am looking at homeless after 32 years of marriage, and he is having a great time. "Spend you into a tent." Was a promise he is keeping.

OMG I thought he was a narc🥵😡💔 you described the man I married, figured it out, they are so nice quiet in public, they can abuse you in everyway. You lucky if you get out alive, like vampires Yes they enjoy your pain, but will go on and on about empathy for strangers, try to convince you you are the sociopath. But they never ever have empathy I have lots❤️ In private they have none They play like they have empathy with words Never with action They know how to mind ef you, where you are mentally emotionally exhausted, you just let it go, so much drama you have no time to process

They tell you what THEY THINK, you wanna hear..

I got some info as a former sociopath, when we lie we try to make it obvious, like looking away or making certain hand gestures for something that's insignificant, then when we're really lying we make it sound believable so you can't tell the difference

Those ppl are just evil, just like narcissist!!!

Just because a sociopath is intelligent they use this for there advantage to say am better then that person so there not that intelligent like they think !

At the end of the day, only a therapist can diagnose someone, over time, the key is are they exhibiting behaviour that is hurting you? Then it doesn't matter their "label", just walk away before you get in too deep

Its comorbid, meaning narcissim almost always come with sociopathy and psychopathy. But narcissism is a thing on its own, and a narcissist isn't necessarily a socio or psychopath

I’m going to disagree when somebody explodes and gets angry. Sociopaths are very quiet and manipulative and nasty under their breath. Very rarely do they show their anger openly.

Literally just called out America’s government, media, and the far left. Not the traditional liberal, but the radical one.
