What do you mean? She was beaten in 2010 and 2011 worlds by Mao Asada and Miki Ando as well as earlier in her career before she rose to prominence at the senior level. But this video is trash. I assumed from the title and how they only mention 5 athletes, it's referring to athletes that were literally never beaten during their entire senior careers. Like how Usain never lost 2008-2014 or Simone never lost in All-Around 2014-2020 at any competition, but for their entire senior careers. Kim Yuna doesn't have that kind of dominance.

@@xungnham1388 Before you jumped the gun to me, better read the video description first. The video description literally stated "never beaten in Olympic Games". Not about Yuna's performance in World Championships or other ISU competition While you're at it having some talk about Yuna's career in general, well, not one figure skaters manage to always land in podium in every single ISU-certified competition throughout their career, except for Yuna. So that's an achievement of its own. Not necessarily a show of dominance, but clearly showcased stability over her opponents.

@@ozamatazbuckshank7467 1. This listing is VERY clearly about *olympics only.* Other competitions aren't accounted for. Everyone knows Yuzuru hasn't won every single competition he has participated in. *Nobody is denying that.* But he *has* won gold both times he participated in the olympics. 2. The idea that a single individual is somehow responsible for the placing of their team in an event like team figure skating is quite baffling. If your individual score is the highest in your category (which was the case with Yuzuru in Sochi) but competitors of other disciplines won more total points for their teams, it's not exactly in any way decided based on that single performance. I'm so very sorry that you can't handle the fact that one of the best figure skaters in history recieves too much positive attention to your liking. Yes there are fans that go overboard in their adoration. However there's nothing delusional about stating the fact that Yuzuru is a two time olympic champion. It's literally factual information so I don't really understand what you are so up in arms about. I suggest growing up 😊

Wendl/Arlt are pretty well known in Germany but mostly people havent heard about these athlethes cause their sports are pretty niche depending on where in the world you are. To stay on Arlt/Wendl they have 4 Olympic Golds and 9 World Championship Golds each in Luge. And Biles for example isnt that well known here because in Germany gymnastics arent really a top watched sport even at the olympics.

If you win once and retire you’re unbeaten. In a team sport there are probably unbeaten alternates who never took the field/ice/court/whatever. Just like there’s a backup NFL QB with multiple SB rings who never played in the big game. There are some weird back ways to being unbeaten. People who go to the Olympic 4, 5, 6, 7 times are more impressive to me. Even if they never bring home the gold… to qualify every time takes 16-28 years of dedication to being world class at something. Plus all the time leading up to your first olympics. That’s insane. Those people are truly great. Once in a while though, the multi-Olympiad freaks also bring home medals every time and THAT is insane. Even if they don’t win every time.
